Sam Smith has been captivating audiences with their unique high tenor since first appearing as the ebullient vocalist on Disclosure’s 2012 breakout single “Latch.” At only 22, the London-born singer instantly became one of the UK’s greatest pop exports after releasing their first album, In the Lonely Hour (2014), which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart and went on to achieve platinum certification five times over in the U.S. The album also earned Smith four Grammys, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year (for the Darkchild remix of “Stay with Me”), as well as Best New Artist. Smith then co-wrote and performed the opening theme “Writing’s on the Wall” for the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, which earned them an Academy Award. Smith’s 2017 sophomore album The Thrill of It All cemented their place at pop music’s forefront, opening atop the Billboard 200, while 2020’s Love Goes boasted collaborations with genre-leading contemporaries like Calvin Harris, Normani, Burna Boy and Demi Lovato. In 2023, Smith released their fourth full-length, Gloria, featuring the Grammy-winning Kim Petras duet, “Unholy,” which became the singer’s first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 — and the first song by an openly non-binary artist and transgender artist, respectively, to reach the chart’s top spot.

    I went to see the Gloria tour and It was fabulous, just by remembering I get chills! The opening of this concert was a masterpiece, i cried!! And actually, I literally cried the entire concert haha! Thank you for being such a wonderful soul. We love ya ❤️

    I had low expectations for his Gloria tour... I was blown away how amazing the whole show was. Sam was a real sweetheart and the back dancers gave me life. I had a great time. 10/10, would definitely go back

    First of all Jessie Reyez was fire!!! It made my ticket extra worth it. Absurdly talented lady. The entire show was epic. It was Sam telling his metamorphosis from the start (stay with me) to the end (unholy). It was pure art. From the stage designs, lighting, to the costumes!! Loved every second of it. Nostalgic setlist and an out of this world vocals from the one and only, SAM SMITH!!!

    It was my first time attending Sam Smith's concert and me and my friends had fun! Visuals are great, the band, the singers and the dancer are amazing as well. Looking forward to more new release songs and concert.

    I loved every second of this concert I would 100% go again Jessie Reyez came on stage and she was incredible the concert with Sam the backing vocalists and the dancers made the show SO ENERGETIC YOU MUST GO!!! Will definitely see Sam next time they come to Toronto⚓️

    Sam has a great voice and some truly great music. That's what I went to see. About half way into the show the message turned from the music into a parade of the audience being forced to watch his sexual fantasies come to life on stage. Both my partner and I felt that we were being forcibly "schooled". We came for the music. I really could care less about your sexual proclivities. Bring on the music. BTW the set was stunning as were the backup singers.
