Sam Smith has been captivating audiences with their unique high tenor since first appearing as the ebullient vocalist on Disclosure’s 2012 breakout single “Latch.” At only 22, the London-born singer instantly became one of the UK’s greatest pop exports after releasing their first album, In the Lonely Hour (2014), which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart and went on to achieve platinum certification five times over in the U.S. The album also earned Smith four Grammys, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year (for the Darkchild remix of “Stay with Me”), as well as Best New Artist. Smith then co-wrote and performed the opening theme “Writing’s on the Wall” for the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, which earned them an Academy Award. Smith’s 2017 sophomore album The Thrill of It All cemented their place at pop music’s forefront, opening atop the Billboard 200, while 2020’s Love Goes boasted collaborations with genre-leading contemporaries like Calvin Harris, Normani, Burna Boy and Demi Lovato. In 2023, Smith released their fourth full-length, Gloria, featuring the Grammy-winning Kim Petras duet, “Unholy,” which became the singer’s first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 — and the first song by an openly non-binary artist and transgender artist, respectively, to reach the chart’s top spot.

One of the best live performances I have ever been to!
His voice was out of this world. The man has a voice that sends chills through your body. Feeling blessed to have seen his show. Thank you Sam Smith for bringing music back.
Sam sang his songs with such passion and emotion that it brought tears to my eyes.
This was an amazing night, beautiful voice, sweet gentleman, it was all over to soon... worth every penny, would go again in a heartbeat! We Loved Sam!!!
Vocal gymnastics at their finest with the hugely talented but also utterly charming Sam Smith. He loved the crowd and the crowd loved him. Great concert.
Saw Sam Smith the other night and was surprised that I stood for the entire performance. From the moment the music began to fill the arena the audience were on their feet. Not for the fast paced music Sam sings but for the admiration of a class act. A singer who sings. He did not rely on dance moves, massive light show or other distractions. The stage was simple yet it work well to showcase his band and backup singers. The light effects that he did have made us feel closer to him and were gorgeous. His voice is superb, song selection while limited (he has but one album out) was terrific. His take on "My Funny Valentine" was beautiful and "Stay With Me" was certainly a crowd pleaser. Mr. Sam Smith, you are a class act all the way! Thank you for coming round to Vancouver once more.
Wow, such a powerful and soulful concert. I really love Sam Smith!
Sam Smith has an amazing voice! He's a great performer & a very sincere, kind & honest person. I'll be a forever fan! ❤️
Sam smith is a true talent. Thoroughly enjoyed the show from beginning to end. He was so humble and seemed to truly love being on stage and performing! Would definitely go again!
It was a great show, wish he performed longer though but I understand he was recovering from losing his voice.
His voice is amazing and when he sings you can feel what he's feeling and he talks with the crowed and makes everyone feel loved and it was one of the best concerts I went to. He is also so dreamy which is a plus and George Ezra opened for him which was also amazing! 100% worth all the money I spent and I will do it again and again and again!!
This is actually one of the best concerts that I have been too! His voice was incredible and you could tell he really appreciated the moment! It was the last night of the tour so I guess that was pretty special too! The one thing I will say is, the gap between George Ezra and Sam Smith was just too long! I'm not sure what happened. The concert started exactly on time which I've also never experienced before.
What a voice! Sam Smith is such a positive force in music.
Sam Smith is amazing. He has the voice of an angel.
An unforgettable moment. All of the songs he sang were atranged in an amazing way unexpected
I didn't want it to end. So good! <3 He's got the voice of an angel
Huge Sam Smith fan. Wondered what his show would be like being that his album is pretty sappy. He totally rocked it. I got goosebumps a few times. He looked like he was going to cry on occasion and seemed very overwhelmed with the crowd and all the cheering. Highly recommended!!! Would see him again in a heartbeat.
Sam Smith is amazingly talented. The pure pleasure of having the ability to sit in the same room as this beautifully honest artist is indescribable. He truly touches you deep in your heart. Thank you for gracing Toronto with your genius presence!
Fantastic concert. Great set design. Beautiful music. Could have been a tad less loud.
It's pretty rare to hear a singer to sing up to par to how they sound on a record... But Sam surpassed all expectations and went above and beyond this night! I could not have had a better first large scale concert than seeing Sam Smith... He was absolutely breath taking with his vocal abilities and all the songs he performed, what a treat to be able to hear him live! He also did a short cover of My Funny Valentine in a rearranged version that was very suiting for him, that was definitely one of the highlights for me.
