Sam Smith has been captivating audiences with their unique high tenor since first appearing as the ebullient vocalist on Disclosure’s 2012 breakout single “Latch.” At only 22, the London-born singer instantly became one of the UK’s greatest pop exports after releasing their first album, In the Lonely Hour (2014), which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart and went on to achieve platinum certification five times over in the U.S. The album also earned Smith four Grammys, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year (for the Darkchild remix of “Stay with Me”), as well as Best New Artist. Smith then co-wrote and performed the opening theme “Writing’s on the Wall” for the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, which earned them an Academy Award. Smith’s 2017 sophomore album The Thrill of It All cemented their place at pop music’s forefront, opening atop the Billboard 200, while 2020’s Love Goes boasted collaborations with genre-leading contemporaries like Calvin Harris, Normani, Burna Boy and Demi Lovato. In 2023, Smith released their fourth full-length, Gloria, featuring the Grammy-winning Kim Petras duet, “Unholy,” which became the singer’s first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 — and the first song by an openly non-binary artist and transgender artist, respectively, to reach the chart’s top spot.

Really worth seeing Great songs, great dansers, great chorists, amazing Sam Smith!
Tout était parfait ! Quel artiste incroyable. Une belle soirée…
My daughter and I loved the show!! Sam Smith and Jessie Reyes we both amazing!
Really loved the performance and looking forward to the next live I will definitely go
What an amazing show, loved every minute, every costume change, every song, just so much love
Loved the themes of love, beauty and sex! His voice gave me chills..so amazing!!!! Pre birthday celebration accomplished.
Sam was beautiful as always, sang incredibly, stunning show and outfits. Truly a show of freedom and self acceptance and love.
Sam Smith was incredible. Loved every minute of his show. I loved his voice, stage set up and his interactions with the audience. Second time seeing him and would see him again. I also much prefer Scotiabank arena as a venue. Although smaller it makes the fan experience so much better.
Sam Smith's concert was a captivating experience from start to finish. The performance of 'Unholy' as the closing act left a lasting impression, making it a night I won't forget.
This tour was very different from his last tour, and I absolutely LOVED IT! Sam went all out and spared no expense to entertain the audience from the stage design, the costumes and not to mention his beautiful vocals. Can't wait for his next concert in Toronto!
Sam smith is an amazing singer, and he puts on a magical show You will really enjoy it
This was an incredibly special one. As Sam said at the start, “it’s been six years since I was in Toronto, so much has changed and nothing has.” When I last saw Sam, we were both exclusively using he/him pronouns. At the time, I hadn’t even heard of non-binary/genderqueer/etc. people. When I learned more about those terms, and began to realize I operated somewhere within and without the gender binary, I began to experience a sense of freedom and clarity, but also fear. Fear because I have seen the way most of the population refuses to even try to understand Enby people; but mostly because of the way people would viciously attack Sam (and people like them) online. For their weight, their fashion, but mostly ridiculing their gender identity. But Sam. Keeps. Going. I have also felt a lot of confusion over what my genderqueer status means, questioning myself on everything from my decisions of what to wear, what to smell like, how to look. As a bearded person who tends to present more masculine, I still feel pangs of “am I too much of this or not enough of that to be considered ‘truly’ genderqueer.” Am I doing it wrong, am I wrong about myself? All this to say; what a refreshing, cathartic night to stand in a sea of queers and allies celebrating a bearded, feminine enby performer (and their incredible bi, Latina, Torontonian opener) as they give a pitch perfect, sexy, gorgeous, celebration of a performance. Thank you @samsmith !
Very good concert, a little short, first 2 acts were excellent Last act, sam went full Satan… You NEVER go FULL SATAN 🔥😅
the concert was amazing! couldn’t have imagined it being any better. absolutely amazing!
Sam Smith's performance was Concert and theater. Seamless transitions costumes where erotic, sensual and elegant ..JUST LOVED THIS SHOW! Jessie "F$%^ing"Reyes...power house vovalist!! Thank you both for sharing your gift of song with me.
Sam was simply amazing. He radiates pure happiness and is just such a beautiful performer I would definitely go see him again and again.
This show was fantastic. Sam Smith you are such a great singer and performer and I wish you strength and good health as you continue on this tour. Only down side was our seats were so high that we couldn’t really see whole stage. There were tvs on concrete which would have been great if used so we could see the stage and performances better. Cup holders at Rogers centre are a nice option also and individuals bringing snacks/drinks etc. end of night looked to go back to elevator for my Mom who doesn’t walk very well and we were redirected to the escalator instead that was out of service - not very impressed with that. I would go and see Sam Smith anytime they come and perform here in Toronto!! Hope you come back soon. Concert seemed to end abruptly with no chance of encore - would have loved to hear a few more songs including Nirvana:). So much fun and a great crowd also.
Sam is super talented, daring, sexy and just overall amazing. He hit it out of park with his performance. Magnificent energy.
Loved Jessie Reyes as an opening act. Her music is so charged with emotion. Sam smith as a headliner was amazing, he sings and performs effortlessly
I really enjoyed the music, but unfortunately I found the performance to be overtly and over the top biased towards LBGTQ crowd and Sam making this solely about gayness which resembles or aligns with a political statement. Stick to your music Sam. I saw Sam prior to the pandemic in the same venue and that was by far a much better performance. I would do more research on his future performances and would not attend if the LBGTQ was his theme.
