Sarah McLachlan is one of most distinctive female vocalists after breaking out in the ’90s behind singles such as “Building a Mystery” and “I Will Remember You.” With 1994’s Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, McLachlan became a star. The album peaked at number 50 on the Billboard 200 chart and number five on the Canada Top Albums/CDs chart. As of 2023, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy has been certified platinum three times in the United States. McLachlan released her debut album Touch in 1988. Her 1997 effort Surfacing debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and hosted her three highest-charting Hot 100 singles: “Building a Mystery,” at No. 13, “Adia” at No. 3 and “Angel” at No. 4. The album went on to win two Grammy Awards. Surfacing coincided with the first Lilith Fair, the wildly successful all-female touring festival co-founded and hosted by McLachlan that took place from 1997 through 1999. In 2003, Afterglow marked McLachlan’s third consecutive Top 10 album, and she maintained that streak with studio albums released through 2014’s Shine On. McLachlan has won 12 JUNO Awards and in 2017 was inducted into The Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

After 30+ years and still has such an angelic, strong voice. So real. So talented.❤️
Just Sarah, her piano, guitar and a cellist! It was an intimate concert that showcased her amazing musical talent! Couldn’t have asked for a better performance
Sarah McLachlan is one of my favourite artist and she did not disappoint. Her voice is so beautiful. She’s a fantastic performer, and we absolutely loved her show. The only reason I gave it a four-star was because of the venue. The venue she chose, allow smoking in the casino and that’s all we smelled from the moment we walked in the door. It’s too bad she didn’t choose a venue that didn’t allow smoke as some People can’t handle second hand smoke. Loved the concert otherwise though!
Authentic live music. Way too good to be held at a casino location.
The wonderful Sarah ever ceases to amaze me. Her unique and stunning vocals, storytelling, and musicianship is really amazing. What a talent!! Please keep touring so we can see you again, and again.
A wonderful intimate concert with Sarah McLachlan! Loved it!❤️
Amazing voice and an engaging conversation with the audience.
I Sarah Mclachlan concert in Calgary was amazing! The sound was great, and she was an TopForm! My rating lost one star because I did not care much for the venue. Bleacher seats were small and did not feel very secure with movement when someone in the row leaned back or forward. Also, leaving the venue, there was vomit outside on the pavement… Probably from someone attending the casino, maybe. Also, way too much construction and disarray in the parking lot.
She is a legend! All the love ❤️ It was a magical show.
An amazing concert. She connected with the audience throughout the concert with stories behind her songs. Her voice sounded amazing and the arrangements worked beautifully with her songs. The video screens added to the experience with great visuals. A smaller venue that worked very well for an intimate setting.
The title depicts perfectly the type of show Sarah presented to her audience. The sweetness of her heart married with her most powerful voice truly is a gift to behold just to be in the audience.
What an incredible range of vocals and super talented. Never get tired of seeing her!
It was great concert, very personable and soulful! We had a great time!
Sarah’s voice is still strong and filled the room as did the feelings of happiness and joy from those being in front of such an enormous talent.
The venue was perfect- good acoustics and intimate. Sarah was a fantastic performer. She engaged us, explained the songs and her voice was clear and pure. I left feeling refreshed and upbeat. Wonderful evening.
She is spectacular. Her acoustic performance with her piano and cellist was so moving and beautiful. Her voice and talents still give me chills. Love her
Was quite shocked to walk in to a cigarette smoke filled environment. This definitely impacted the experience but Sarah took us away as always. It really is a great intimate venue. Would be better without the smoke.
Awesome concert! Loved the story telling! Such a great voice!
Always loved her voice, a fan since “Vox” This evening did not disappoint, a small venue, a piano, a guitar and a backing cellist/vocal. She played from the vault and it was excellent. She did perform a new song and it was well received. An intimate performance for the 4K of us there, played for over 90 minutes and left this fan wanting more, purely my greed and her discography. Sarah’s voice has not weakened over time, was an excellent evening.
Nice music and beautiful voice but performance needed another half dozen songs. Limited by the lack of a full band ( only Sara and a cellist) Also lacked a warm up act.
