Sarah McLachlan is one of most distinctive female vocalists after breaking out in the ’90s behind singles such as “Building a Mystery” and “I Will Remember You.” With 1994’s Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, McLachlan became a star. The album peaked at number 50 on the Billboard 200 chart and number five on the Canada Top Albums/CDs chart. As of 2023, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy has been certified platinum three times in the United States. McLachlan released her debut album Touch in 1988. Her 1997 effort Surfacing debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and hosted her three highest-charting Hot 100 singles: “Building a Mystery,” at No. 13, “Adia” at No. 3 and “Angel” at No. 4. The album went on to win two Grammy Awards. Surfacing coincided with the first Lilith Fair, the wildly successful all-female touring festival co-founded and hosted by McLachlan that took place from 1997 through 1999. In 2003, Afterglow marked McLachlan’s third consecutive Top 10 album, and she maintained that streak with studio albums released through 2014’s Shine On. McLachlan has won 12 JUNO Awards and in 2017 was inducted into The Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Sarah Mclachlan is magical live. She played a large variety of her songs old and new. Her band was stellar. Run don’t walk to see her! You will enjoy her immensely. The venue was comfortable with great acoustics.
Sarah was amazing as usual! I have seen her perform several times over the decades. She sang songs from several different albums and sang them so well. She is so personable with the audience, explaining the background of the song and just interacting. The OLG stage at Niagara is a wonderful venue with great acoustics! I await the next concert and album!
Sarah was outstanding!! What a beautiful evening she gave us, from start to finish. Pulled at our heart strings a few times, made us laugh and put smiles on our faces. Awesome performance....but then she never disappoints. She still has it. I love how she shares a bit of herself at every song. She allows you to get up close and personal. Good venue. Everything proceeded orderly and without incident. Great seats. And very reasonable ticket prices.

Sarah did a fantastic job bringing back all the good memories that go along with her music. She shared her stories about where the songs came from which made the night even more enjoyable. She sings just like every album I have…perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed my night..but the wine was too expensive. 16 dollars a glass. They say it’s 9oz worth. Lies.
My 5th time seeing her but first time since 2003. Simply amazing. I wasnt sure what to expect after 20 years but she was absolutely fantastic!! A decent mix of older songs (Fumbling-era, sadly nothing earlier) and more modern hits. Even a few new yet-to-be-recorded songs. Set length was just over 90mins-ish. I really hope she comes back through again in the near future, I will definitely go again! ♥ ♥ ♥

I never would have thought I would have liked Sarah Mclachlan, but, the concert was amazing. I knew more songs that I thought. Great concert!!!
Sarah's voice was absolutely spectacular. She sounded almost better than in recordings!!! She was so personal, it felt like a private concert the way she talked about her life.
Concert and music was AMAZING and Rama is a great venue BUT… the bars were understaffed and it took 35 (yes, thirty-five) mins to get through the bar line. A little disappointed in that regard.
Loved her being more connected to the audience & down to earth
Sarah gave us a fabulous concert and some insight into her personal life journey by sharing stories of how she came to write certain songs. Her voice sounds the same as when she first started her career…like an “Angel”.
Great songs, great band and terrific artist. Sarah's voice is still fantastic and the emotion she displays with each song makes this a must see concert! A night filled with great entertainment!
