    Seether Forever!!!

    by Chilidog2012 on 2011-07-01Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

I have seen Seether four out of the last four times they have played here and they never fail to give me just what I am looking for in their live performances but just never enough of it. Love being able to see them at the Commodore, so much more satisfying than when I saw them with Audioslave at GM Place. Wish there had been another encore but what can you do after The Remedy?

This band is so refreshing.. Finally some men who can rock without the cheese!

    Seether was disappointing.

    by Brat13 on 2011-07-01Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

The Commodore is always a great place for a concert. The opening band, Like A Storm put on a very decent show. They will be a great headlining band one day. Now I've been a Seether fan for the majority of the last decade, I was very excited to see them perform finally but they lacked in almost everything. They didn't talk or engage the crowd. They simply stood there and sung and while they sing very well it doesn't make for a super entertaining show. They also only played for an hour and left without an encore. For a band that's been in the business for more than a decade they put on a poor show, they have no stage presence. I only knew about half the songs they performed. While I will continue to listen and buy their music, I will probably not see them again.

seen seether 3 times before and was blown away , this time however was not so great, didn't have the flow or intensity they have had before and the sound sucked , you could hardly hear what he was singing. The first band rocked.

The best Seether concert I've seen!

by Jojo99 on 2011-05-31The Opera House - Toronto

And I have seen a few. They did a lot of their old stuff from the first album......songs I've been wanting to hear, as well as all their hits and a few from the new album. The sounds were great. The band was definitely on and I just floated along to it all.

    Solid show, but...

by MetallicaDan on 2011-05-31The Opera House - Toronto

Seether can play, there's no doubt about it, but I get the sense that the lead singer might not be super comfortable with the crowd. I think the bassist (Dale Stewart) does a much better job at interacting with the fans. That being said, they sound great and played all of their "classics". It was a solid show at a reasonable price, just don't expect Shaun Morgan to look at you, talk to you or to come back for an "encore". They play their songs, swell their 5 minutes "greatest hit" to 8 minutes and transitioning each song with some loud distortion and then "thanks for coming out Toronto".

The show was amazing, really laid back. I was shocked by the amount of people that could fit into the Opera House it was PACKED. Bleeker Ridge opened they killed it they are an amazing band to see! Seether were great! Security kinda sucked couldnt even break up a fight. Overall an amazing show Both bands were awesome!

    Seether/Bleeker Ridge

by Anonymous on 2011-05-30The Opera House - Toronto

First of all, the opera house is a great venue. It's not too big so you get a more intimate concert. Bleeker Ridge opened for Seether, and let me tell you... they are worth seeing. Every time I see this band they sound better and better. It was nice to see them in a bigger venue than my small town one. Seether's set was great, though they didn't do an encore. The drummer killed it. Overall it was an amazing concert.

Great show ... a bit short though

by Stix2002 on 2011-05-30The Opera House - Toronto

This was a really good show in a small intimate venue which makes it possible to see the band up close and personal. Seether was very tight and put out a lot of energy. The guys were in fine form and played a wide variety of their stuff from old to new. The staging and lighting were very cool with giant sized amps as a backdrop. The crowd was rowdy and the mosh pit was pretty crazy. No encore and only 1.5 hours of playing time made for a short show however.

    Awesome show!

by deber on 2011-05-29The Opera House - Toronto

Bleeker Ridge put on a great show but wished they would have played longer. Seether was awesome! But again, wish they would have played longer. The sound system was messed up a bit as some of the songs had feedback, but all in all it was a great time! Small venue so you could get up close to the band.

    Amazing Show

by ToRoNtO92 on 2011-05-08The Opera House - Toronto

Seether was an amazing band to see live. I'm very happy I had the opportunity to see such an amazing talent right before my eyes. The guys have their own sense of whats cool which gives them an external persona that most may not pick up from seeing a picture or a youtube video. I found it a very overall insperational experience and would gladly partake in seeing them live once again.
