    First comedy show ever

    by Hafid on 2024-10-25

Shane Gillis has been one of my favourite comedians for some time now. I was very excited for the show and it was great from start to finish. A lot of people complained about the sound but it was fine for me (or maybe I have nothing to compare it with as this was my first show). However it was a fantastic experience and cannot wait for the next one.

    Shane the grain

by Dave G on 2024-09-28Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

The show was great, material was great. Could have sounded better. The acoustics were not the best. Some of the openers I could not make out what they were saying.

    My first Scotiabank Comedy show

by Bryan on 2024-09-24Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

This was my first comedy show at Scotiabank Arena, although I have been to many sports games and concerts here before. The acoustics and sound was decent from my seat in the mid 100 level, a few times there was feedback but very infrequently. My only complaint would be that the concessions were slow, and ran out of beer before the main act.

    Hilarious

by Abe on 2024-09-24Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Shane was the funniest guy I’ve ever seen Laughing the entire time The only reason I didn’t do 5 stars is cuz it was kinda hard to hear what he was saying at times and I missed a couple of jokes. But that has to do with the arena

    Bad sound

by CJC on 2024-09-24Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Hard to hear comedian. Openers were not ready for that large of a venue and poor sound quality.

Too funny, left with sore abs.

    by Phoe420 on 2024-09-24Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

The openers were hilarious, especially James McCann. Taboo topics pushed to the edge. When Shane came out I was laughing beginning to end. The round format of presentation served the whole crowd well. When comedians were facing away from me I would watch the big screen. This was my first time going alone to a Scotia Bank arena event and I do not regret it. Such a fun night. Shane Gillis is now my favourite comedian.

    Shane was awesome!

by Jordo on 2024-09-24Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Shane was awesome to watch. Very short event for the price though. More openers or longer sets would have made it worth it. The people who booed Charles off stage should be barred from any event at Scotiabank, absolutely disrespectful, you make us Canadians look bad. Scotiabank Arena staff was very unorganized at the gates with a sea of people trying to push there way in, there was zero coordination, especially since this was the biggest attendance ever at Scotiabank. The event should have been scheduled for an hour earlier so everyone could have been in their seats when the openers came on. Being in line for drinks for almost half the show is ridiculous.
