Tissues should be handed out to assist with the tears from extreme laughter. Proud to be a fellow Canadian, Shawn was on his game, Gold Medal award for sure. You can be sure I will be at the next performance he has, or put me at the front of the line for the DVD release. DFR
I have always enjoyed watching Shaun hosting Just for Laughs, and 22 minutes but never saw his own act and i was not disappointed. I loved all the "local references" and his easy manner delivering one liners but his foret is telling a complicated story and not losing you. I laughed so hard my throat hurt the next morning and my jaw is still sore. A must see and i can't wait to see the final product that will come out of his taping the show.
Had a great time! Lots of laughs, love the "local reference!"
Very Funny !!! Loved it !! Can't wait to see him again !!
I am a Newfoundlander and LOVED his account of directions in NL. That is just one segment of what was a hilarious show... great job Shaun! Here representing Hopeall, NL !!!
Boy, Shaun works hard. And he's fun to watch! We laughed.
So memorable and a top notch show. So much talent from that man good times. It was a great night out.
Shaun was hilarious....many "local references"!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to watch all the footage after the tour!
The ticket is worth the price! 2 and half hours of pure laughing. Shaun's a real stage artist!
This was an unpolished performance of 15 year old material. I went expecting a solid hour of well prepared new material by someone that I once considered hilarious and completely original. If you can't get into the clubs to write and polish a proper act because all of your time is spent on the set of a mediocre tv show you have no business selling theatre seats for 50 bucks a shot. It's disrespectful to the audience and the craft. And I don't think I'm the only one who felt this way. Shaun himself seemed nervous and unprepared as if he knew what he was trying to pull off, a tour and a DVD of half forgotten and poorly presented material. Nigel Lawrence, who opened, was great! Also, we were sat in seats that weren't ours. We arrived and were told "we're seating best available" and then were shown to worse seats than the ones we had bought. I would love for someone to explain this to me. The show hadn't started and we had tickets that clearly had a seat and row number on it. Overall the night was a complete waste of time and money.
Excellent show! We've seen him five times already. We hope to see him again soon.
