Watching the young athletes and realizing how much work and how many hours they must put in to prepare for this one chance was very moving. It was exciting to watch these superb skaters live...big difference from TV
We have not been able to attend the Canadian Figure Skating Championships because of distance until now. We thoroughly enjoyed the event and look forward to a future possibility of attending again. The venue was excellent because of the sight line we had.of the rink. We were intially concerned about the locaton of our seats but found them to be great!
Really great to see not only the current chamnpions but also the up and coming skaters of the future.
Great event if you love figure skating. The seats are a bit uncomfortable at the Hershey centre but that has nothing to do with the show or the ease of booking tickets with Ticketmaster.
The whole skating weekend was amazing the skaters were wonderful and the audience really brought a lot to the table!

Great Day! Great venue to host a Canadians. Parking is easy. Enjoyed every minute of it.
There is nothing like skating live. Much better than on the tv.

Very good as usual, except for the ban on cameras with detachable lenses. We enjoy taking pictures for our own enjoyment, and are unable to capture the photos we would like due to the speed of the skaters. Found the venue crowded, why has it been in Ontario so many times? Also preferred it when it was spread over 4 days, makes for very long days. An 85 year old is part of our group, and it is hard on her.
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the skaters at Skate Canada. It is nice to be able to attend events that attract international skaters and you do not have to travel very far. Would like to attend more events like this.
The level of perforrmance was very good considering it is still early in the skating season. Looking forward to seeing the level of skating increase as the season progresses.
Having never experienced a live competition and gala show, I was absolutely blown away by the athletes, their routines and the finale/gala. It was wonderful to see how much the athletes appreciated the audience and truly allowed themselves to enjoy a free exhibition of their outstanding talent. Thank you for not only allowing us to glimpse the competitive nature of your sport, but also enjoy the creative and free beauty of your art! Skate Canada International, this was a fabulous venue, where everyone had a great seat and the trivia, live commentary, historic clips and overall comfort allowed the ticket holders to enjoy a really rewarding event. We loved watching the clips of early skating, past events put to music, the trivia contest with "Name that tune" and the interval music. Well done! I hope that we will be able to make future destinations for this great event. Thank you Patrick for your beautiful tribute to your audience and for the lovely expression of the art of skating preformed by your fellow competitors! Loved it!
Skating was great and the audience appreciated every moment of it. Gala was a infectious - good to see the skaters more relaxed and ready to have fun.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the 2011 Skate Canada International competition this past weekend. Although our Canadian ladies did not skate very well the event was fun to watch. The Pairs competition was very exciting with the Canadian couple winning the Bronze medal. We stayed for the Medal Presentation which was very well organized and a thrill to see.
Fantastic event! Terrific Venue Outstanding Staff. Concession servers in dire need of expedience training. Overall I'd love to see future event here. Venue perfect!
It was wonderful to see the Men's short - Fernandez was supurb - Brian Orser should be so proud. As this was Patrick's first time out, it wasn't for lack of cheering that he missed a few things!! It was also great to see Virtue and Moir skate - it is so wonderful to think that she is finally skating without pain after all this time. They certainly deserved to come first. Just the whole atmosphere at the rink is fun!!
