    Don't waste your time

by milosixx on 2011-07-31Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon

Zombie was excellent as always so at least I seen one good performance. Slayer, after that many years, you would think they would know how to put on a show. It was the worst concert I have been to. Don't waste your time or money seeing Slayer live.

    A little above average.

For starters, Exodus was a surprise. Too short of a set for such a great band. Mr. Rob Zombie mentioned that he drove 14 hours for the show and it showed in his performance. He was tired. Better show when he opened for Ozzy. The huge T.V. screens, props, walking skeletons and robots, flames etc was great and classic Zombie. Slayer was an onslaught of sound. With a strip down stage no props were needed to make this show one of the heaviest and loudest show's ever. The music spoke for itself.

Show was amazing. Exodus opened with fervor!! This was our 4th time seeing Rob and the boys, they were great as usual!! Slayer was exceptional, and extremely loud. The only complaint I had at all, is that even though I love Slayer - I really think that Zombie should be the closing act. It's such a stage show that you really can't believe there's one more band to go afterward. Slayer is perfect musically, but not as intense to watch.

Rob Zombie Rocked as Slayer just showed up

by Vezner on 2011-07-31Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon

I think Rob Zombie again put on a hell of a show...I guess he's a tough act to follow when he even put on a better show than Ozzy when he came last time with them, but Slayer had absolutely no show or even a back drop...I agree with most of people's complaints on them...they just laugh that we all paid to see them and pocket the money and don't put a dime back to their fans...they don't put out like Artists who appreciate those of us who make them rich. I'd pay to see Zombie again and again...as far as slayer...I wouldn't waste another dime on them or any of their shows...their Ego's aren't worth the money

    Excellent Show

by Iceman31 on 2011-07-31Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon

All three acts were excellent - Exodus got the crowd going. Rob Zombie had a great stage show with lots of theatrics and pyro. Slayer were everything I expected - no fancy stage show just the band some lights and the pure raw power that their music provides.

Rob zombie always puts on a great show. Great costumes and theatrics. Slayer also puts on a great show. Less about the theatrics and more about the music. This was a great team-up

I loved the concert, it was amazing. Rob Zombie will forever reign in my heart. I am however dissapointed that the show wasnt as long as I thought it would be.

    Brace Yourself...

Rob Zombie is an excellent visual performer. Last year when he rolled into town with Alice Cooper on the Gruesome Twosome tour, it was one hell of a show. If his reputation holds, there should be lots of fire, lots of lights, and it should be fantastic. Slayer is great when it comes to playing live, and hopefully Rob can help them out with with the special effects. (Rob's set rivalled that of Metallica when they came in 2007.)
