Thought Heavy Metal should be loud?

by altaoilman on 2011-08-02Rexall Place - Edmonton

Well have seen Rob Zombie and Slayer a few time now and not overly impressed at allmaybe they should go watch a Rammstein performance not that is something to be impressed with! I do love Slayer dont get me wrong but i wanna feel the place shaking and pounding with bass, i think i was even more impressed with Nicklebacks performance and they suck lol

    Slayer/Zombie

by MEGADETHFAN on 2011-08-02Rexall Place - Edmonton

This concert was absolutely amazing. Exodus really sounded good and got everyone ready for Zombie. His stage set-up was awesome and he sounded better then he did years ago. Slayer of course killed it. Highly recommend going if you have never seen either.

    Missing "wow" factor

by THEAdrian on 2011-08-02MTS Centre - Winnipeg

My first big problem with this show is that on my ticket stub, it said 7:00pm. I assumed this meant that's when the doors opened. However, it turns out that the doors opened at 6, and the opening band, Exodus (who I was most excited to see of all 3 bands), started at 6:40m, way before the time printed on my ticket stub. As a result, I completely missed their set. I was not the only one to be furious over this matter. The second problem I found, was that both Exodus and Rob Zombie played extremely short sets. When I think "full set" I'm thinking an hour forty-five to two hours, yet both bands played for only slightly over an hour. These are big bands we're talking about, with dozens of songs at their disposal, and both sets just seemed to end abruptly. Considering I paid almost 100$ for my ticket, I was expecting something with a little more "wow".

    Rob Zombie and Slayer!!!

by ceh316 on 2011-08-02Rexall Place - Edmonton, AB

This has got to be one of the best concerts ive been. I didnt hit Exodus cause i didnt know their music at all. Rob Zombie and Slayer, blew my mind. Rob Zombie had the best performance of the night in my opinion. But Slayer had the floor going nuts which is what entertained me. Both produced amazing setlists. Definitely a recommend on anyones part

    What a show!!

by Hendo on 2011-08-02MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Exodus was the perfect way to kick off the event...they were able to get the crowd into it early, Rob Zombie put on the best stage show i have ever seen so far...the opening was unreal, and then there is Slayer one of the top 4 metal bands of all time....dont remember much of the music due to the constant mosh pit from start to finish

    Zombie show great but short

by Anonymous on 2011-08-02Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

As expected, Rob Zombie put on a great show. It was a fantastic show of music and visuals. Sometimes it's hard to decide whether to watch the band or the lights and video. The only down side was that Zombie put on a rather short show. I would like to have seen a longer show given Rob's great music offerings.

    Rob Zombie was impressive

    by Dorito5000 on 2011-08-01Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

I really enjoyed Rob Zombie's set!!! I expected more from Slayer, there was very little interaction between Tom Araya & the crowd. I liked the set lists, but wish Rob Zombie had headlined & that I could have seen a lot more from him!!!

Rob Zombie always puts on a good show.

    by ClarkKent123456 on 2011-08-01Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

Rob Zombie always puts on a good show. I have seen 4 of his shows and this was his best performance yet. Seeing Slayer was an added bonus but they didn't put on the same show Zombie did.

Rob Zombie knows how to put on a show

by Anonymous on 2011-08-01Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

You got what you expected with this line-up. Rob Zombie should have been the last act to play because he killed it. After Zombie was done his revved up performance Slayer stood there and played for a while only addressing the crowd once. Not knowing a lot about Slayer I was glad that Zombie was there. Probably the reason he is on the tour. I love guys shredding the guitar but you go there for a show.

by CalgaryConcertLover on 2011-08-01Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary

The stage show that Rob Zombie brought was one of the best I have seen. I would absolutely attend another Rob Zombie concert. Sadly, he did not do an encore...
