    Soundgarden is Back!

by coRDuroy on 2011-07-04Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

Going in I was a little hesitant because of the clips from Lollapalooza 2010. From the minute they started playing I could tell they had tightened up and really gotten back on the horse so to speak. Matt and Ben really held things together. Chris' voice is now laden with effects, but it works and it'll probably allow him to keep his voice fresh the whole tour. From Black Rain to Like Suicide, this "greatest hits" tour is well worth the 14 year wait!

    Still kicking ass!!

by MrsZieg on 2011-07-04Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

The last time I saw Soundgarden was 17 years ago, they looked and sounded just as good as they did back in the day!! I was worried that Chris' voice wouldn't have the same grit as it used to but, boy was I wrong!!! Amazing time not even the thunderstorm could damper it!

    The mighty Soundgarden

by Spookchop on 2011-07-04Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

What a throw back to the days of musical talent !! It really was amazing to able to see these guys perform live! Time has not worn this band down at all. Chris Cornell can really belt it out... makes it look effortless. If they ever return I'll be there! This is what rock is supposed to sound like. Just amazing.

Soundgarden was the loudest band I ever heard

by Cesco on 2011-07-04Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

It was great to hear Soundgarden. I've been a fan for 19 years so I was really glad that they got back together. The set started off a bit shaky soundwise but by the 3rd song things were sounding great. The band has some great songs and the vibe of the band is killer.

Amazing show!! Chris Cornell was at his finest, band was solid and heavy, and they covered all the Soundgarden classics. The whole crowd was on its feet for the full two hour show. Would definitely see them again!!

    Awesome set

by Meg9 on 2011-07-04Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

Loved every minute (including the natural light show). Cornell was amazing, kinda wished he talked more as he was really funny. Kim was awesome as well. The set was perfect.

    Soundgarden in T.O.

by compy on 2011-07-04Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

This was the 3rd time for me seeing Soundgarden, and all i can say is that the band is like a fine red wine, they only got better with age. The show was awesome, and it seemed like they never stopped playing together. Was worth every penny. This is the concert of the summer. Don't miss out.

    Best concert EVER!

by Wednesdaygirl on 2011-07-04Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

It feels like I've waited my whole life to see these guys live, and they did not disappoint! The concert was energetic and loud and the band was gracious and played most of the crowd favourites. I expected a good concert, but it was absolutely GREAT.

Sound was good, specially for first night of the tour, great play list and even a little rain ddin't bother most of us! I would have moved Rrusty Chains and Jesus Christ Pose to end of set.
