Stars on Ice - Canada Tickets

Always wanted to go to the Olympics for figure skating, but could not afford to. This event, Stars on Ice, was a wonderful chance to see some of the best skaters. The routines went from sexy and serious, to light and to very playful! Don't think there was a bad seat in terms of vision. The only negative thing in some of the numbers was that the lighting blocked out the skater as they passed in front of the coloured spotlights where the costume colour made them invisible as they passed the spotlights of a similar colour. But great show...can't believe Elvis Stojko's strength and power at 53 years old! He also had the most expressive body movements in the funny numbers. Would have been nice if Kurt Browning, as Director, had popped in for a few words, but he likely wanted the full spotlight on the skaters!

Overall it was a fantastic show! The music mixes and choices were phenomenal, and most of the routines were really entertaining to watch. Elvis was the best part of the show - the way he became one with the music and showed off his moves captivated the entire arena. The light shows accompanying some dancers were also a great touch, really helped the atmosphere come through. And most performers were very in tune with the audience and communicated with the crows during their routines - you felt like you were truly part of the show. However, there were some routines that felt flat and repetitive with the performer skating back and forth..expectations were higher for champions performing. Also, the lighting on the floor at some points shone right into viewer's eyes so it was hard to make out parts of the performance. Also, the fundraising speech right before the intermission completely ruined the mood of the evening and show and I do not feel it was appropriate for this type of show.

The lighting, sound systems, song choices, choreography was fantastic! Such an energetic and inspiring show! Think this was our sixth time seeing Stars On Ice and we plan on continuing to attend well into the future.

I have been going to Stars on Ice for over 20 years. As the years have gone by, the talent (and recognizable names) has deteriorated. Not to mention the venue for Toronto keeps changing (and getting smaller and more expensive). This year’s cast of “stars” had me a bit worried. So did the theme because rock music is not my preferred genre of music. I am happy to report however that the show was great. A lot of fun to watch. Elvis was the veteran presence, Keegan excited the crowd, and Piper and Paul were beautiful. The others (some “stars” I had never even heard of) were fun to watch and are hopefully being mentored by the veterans who have skated in shows before so that their ability to play to the crowd improves both their competitive and show skating.

It was our first time attending Stars on ice and it was amazing! It was very entertaining and well done. Looking forward to attend more in the future!

Always good to see fantastic skaters take to the ice, and have fun. Seeing everyone work together and put on great show, makes for a great evening out.

Wish we had skating performances more,as the experience was so nice to watch, Canda has fantastic skaters that know how to get the audience involved, and skate so well

We would have liked to see Kurt Browning mentioned and presented since he is the producer of the show. We missed seeing him. Otherwise we loved the show - very good job :) Loved the music. All skaters did an excellent job. Elvis Stojko was amazing. He is still the best skater there at 53 years. What a role model. I hope he continues for another 20 years. I felt that his skating is even better than when he was competing.

One of the best show of star on ice, choreography and selection of music of my taste. Even my daughter’s attention was all there. Thanks a lot for performance.

Great show, very entertaining. Especially seeing Elvis Stojko skating again. And Jason Brown, what a performer! We had a verry good time.

Great show overall, but the long charity pitch mid-performance felt out of place. We came for entertainment, not a fundraiser. I particularly disliked when the audience was asked to raise hands in support of a charity.

Loved Stars on Ice this year. Congrats to Kurt for a great production. However, it would be nice to see a few more skaters added to the cast. For me Jason Brown was the star of the show and I hope he continues to entertain us in Canada for years to come.

Great event all around. Great venue. The show was incredible. So much talent and the "Rock"theme was great. Some amazing performances.

We enjoyed the show! The solo performances were excellent and the choreography of the group numbers was more intricate and fun. We could have done without the two mob-haired guitarists though. That part was kind of silly but overall we really enjoyed the show. Good job Kurt and skaters! We'll be back next year.
