Every skater was just amazing! It was such a fun evening!!!!
Me and my daughter enjoyed every moment of the show! Highly recommended.
Everything was smooth and well organized. It was nice show, all of them were spectacular.
It was an extraordinary performance. Every year I love to come and see this beautiful performers. They are extraordinary and absolutely amazing skaters. I love them all and will come back to see them every year and forever. God bless them all.
It was my first time watching Stars on Ice and it was fantastic! I will come back again next year! Patrick Chan I love you!
Although there were several good skaters, I felt the couples and Elvis were the best. Parts of it were a little slow and there were moments during the SOI skit that I felt were not funny. I guess I was just expecting more from the performances, after all these were elite medal skaters. I am glad that Elvis finished the show because his performance ROCKED!!
I went with my family & fiance, we had such a great time. They’re very talented and fun too!
Was ok....definitely a shadow of it's former self. The whole scientist trope was goofy and juvenile. Overall the music choices were low energy and boring. I was taking someone who really wanted to see the show but probably would not have gone just for myself.
Great show with amazing athletes. Wonderful for the entire family. Merch is crazy expensive! Wished there was some more tshirt options. $75 for a sweater ain’t happening when I’ve got two kids with me. If there was more in the $30-40 range it would have been do-able. Come on Kurt! Give me a break.
I have gone many times and loved it but this one lacked something. It seemed the performances were simplified, maybe insurance issues??? Very guarded. Science stuff, not so funny. Sorry. I enjoyed Piper and Paul - hoped for a 3rd dance :( Patrick - was emotional knowing he was retiring.
Found the scientific routine boring and the music choices not great. Enjoyed it more in past years.
It was fun; these show always are. There were new themes and some new performers. I always enjoy Stars on Ice!
The skating performance was fantastic, but the joy was lost, because we could not understand a word what was said. The music was so loud, you just wanted the music to stop. The temperature got colder and colder, if felt the AC was going a full tilt. Not a pleasant experience. The next evening we went to Meridian Centre in St. catherines, but this time we could hear what was being said, the music really accompanied the skaters, rather than blast the music. Temperature was cool, understandable, but not unpleasant, like at the Scotia Bank arena. I will drive to St. Catherines any tome to avoid Scotia Bank arena.
Such a fabulous experience, best ever, an absolute honour to witness the skill and passion of these skaters particularly our Canadian medalists and wonderful Mr. Patrick Chan.I will really miss him. Congratulations Curt for your super choreography!
Overall the show was good and entertaining. It was great to see Patrick Chan skate for the final time in Toronto. The crowd however was very sparse. The entire upper bowl was empty and the bottom bowl at best was half-2/3 full. I can recall days when the stadium was full and Toronto had two shows and there was another in Hamilton. The heyday of skating’s popularity seems to have past. It could in part be due to the fact most of our top notch skaters no longer perform. With Kurt and Patrick’s retirement that leaves only Elvis from the heyday of Canadian skating. Something will need to be done to revive interest in Stars on Ice. Maybe going to a smaller venue or even the Molson Centre in Barrie might be a better option in the future.
Just as I remembered. Fantastic show full of fun, laughter and tremendous talent! Seeing Patrick skate to send in the clowns brought my daughter to tears. It was lovely! 🥰
Programs were good, the science experiment gimmick was fun, but... honestly the whole thing completely neglected one side of the audience. I shelled out for floor seats, and all the programs, especially group numbers, focused on the side opposite from me and the long sides. When I walked out, I could see from the ice on the rink that the other end was far more marked up than where I sat. I felt like I might as well have been sitting 10 rows back, I feel bad for everyone behind me. They could really work on giving all 4 sides a good show, rather than just 3. We were left out of the audience interaction bits, the group numbers had them going up as a group to all sides except ours, we only ever saw their backs during a lot of the gimkicky parts, etc. It was a pretty big let down.
We had a fantastic time watching the stars on ice!! The science premise behind it was very fun, and as always, the skating was just outstanding. It was a joy to see Patrick Chan for his final skate with them, and Elvis Stojko absolutely blew the roof off. I have never seen anyone spin so hard and fast in all my years of watching figure skating! It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and I look forward to next year’s performances!
The quality of the skating was fantastic. Great cast.
