Two great comedians with perfect timing and a lifetime of funny with the ability to adlib live...what could be better!
Such a great show with so many funny stories long the way as well as great music
Old friends (rivals?) Short and Martin traded barbs and recollections from their stories careers. While the Steep Canyon Rangers provided a change of pace and incredible musicianship. Somehow it all tied together for a 2 hour show that flew by.
Were genuine and entertaining and the evening was full of talent and surprises!
The show exceeded our expectations! Such legendary performers.
Enjoyable night laughing with two great comediens. Recommend for any Steve Martin or Martin Short fan.
Laughed the whole night! Comedy legends! Steve and Martin were candid and full of energy, Steve’s band top notch music. Love loved the show
Not fresh at all, lots of video of their careers which we could see elsewhere, not very funny.
These two amigos are the best. Fabulous timeless comedy and endless great one-liners. Wish I could remember them all. We enjoyed every minute and could have watched them for hours. Also loved the Blue Grass band. Definitely would see them again.
At first, we didn't know how the interaction between these two comedic icons was going to go, and with the two chairs on stage, we thought, "were they just going to be talking to each other?". But their back and forth dialogue, some of which appeared so spontaneous we weren't sure if it was or not, was amazing. They rolled through some photos of them growing up, rolled through their favourite lines of other comedians, Steve and the Steep Canyon Rangers did a few amazing numbers on their stringed instruments. The fiddler was wow. Don't want to give it all away, but I can rate this show one of the highest on my 50+ list of comedians/stand-up comics I have seen. Highly recommended.
I saw them 2 years ago on the same tour. it was brilliant & hilarious. ' However, this time around, it was pretty much the same show, jokes, songs, anecdotes etc I love Steve & Martin & would love to see them put together a brand new act if they decide to continue this partnership, which i hope they do.
Steve (Martin) Short were amazing, a must see, especially Marty!
The variety of entertainment made the time go by quickly and lament the ending of the show, it was a solid 2 hrs of fun!
I was really looking forward to this event. It was good but could have been much better. They rely too much on joking around instead of doing real banter about things they have done together. So disappointed that they didn't even touch on Father of the Bride that must have been such a funny experience for them. Steve Martin plays way too much music on his banjo. One song would be enough. As he said himself, he is famous enough to do that himself separately. I don't really like this venue. The seats at the back are really far away and the tickets were very expensive. I have never paid over $100 for a ticket before to still sit nearly at the back. There are some much better venues in Vancouver.
This show was way different than I was expecting. I was pleasantly surprised , great show funny and entertaining.
Highly recommend .. and it was NOT an Evening I Will Forget.. My younger sons also went to the show and the very next day couldn't wait to RE-SEE the 3 Amigos, just so we could laugh some more.. thank you gentlemen for a great night out
Wow, 2 straight hours of comedy from 2 of the best! This was an ahhhmazing evening. Thank you so much! Loved both of them, together and separately. Wowza, go see if you have the chance.
Fantastic! Hilarious! Have never laughed so much,my stomach and mouth hurt from laughing and smiling. Martin Short was hilarious,Steve Martin was very enjoyable on the banjo, very talented men!
funny in spots, showing the old movie clips was funny too.Went there listen to comedy but got way too much music,The band was good but expected more stand up.
They were fantastic! I would highly recommend seeing them if you get the chance. They are still first class entertainers. Love them!!
