Stompin Tom Connors Tickets

We were looking so forward to this event - our entire family enjoys listening to Stompin' Tom when traveling north. Our kids know all the words. When we found out there was an opening act - Mr. Laforme, we figured that Tom was only able to play a few songs during each set. (there was a half hour intermission) Mr. Laforme was not very good - sorry - kind of like visiting a bar out in the sticks (maybe that's what they were going for). When Tom came out, he had so much to give! They didn't need to drag the event into 3 hours!!!! After the half hour intermission which was already running the show late, instead of just bringing out Tom, they brought out Mr. Laforme AGAIN!!! Tom then proceeded to sing a ton of songs - he had so much energy and so much to sing! The event should not have gone to 11:00pm - they did not need to have any opening acts to start him off. That crowd would have easily paid what we did to only see him sing for an hour and half!!!! That's how much he is appreciated.

They say things get better with age! This is probably the last event for him though..

wow.....great show for a man who seams timeless! my son who's 8 & I went and we both had a great time.....Stompin Tom is a Great pomoter of home grown talent with Billy Macinnis & Mark LaForme both preforming Great music!

Nine of us attended this super show and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed it. He is amazing especially when you consider that he is 75 years old. Hasn't lost any of his voice or his ability to keep the audience entertained.........His band was excellent as well.

Stompin Tom was really revved-up for the performance .His conversing with the crowd was a hoot ,like Tom telling jokes of which some never made sence but the audence laughed at them .The music and songs where awesome and well known by the crowd ,some very oldies which I remember as I am about his age .He has very deep feelings for the Canadian people and the songs are a trubute to that as well.He is one of the last of the GREAT truadors .

I very much enjoyed the show. The band was super and I especially enjoyed the fiddle playing.

I have seen Stompin' Tom many times, in many different venues. He is truly a great entertainer. He always sings the fan favorites but there are always less familiar songs so his show is always different. Stompin' Tom is 75 years old and although he may stomp a little less than before the voice is as strong as ever. As long as he tours, we will continue to go to his concerts. A true Canadian entertainer.

You would never know Stompin' Tom was 75! He was incredible. What a great sense of humour and what a twinkle in his eye. He is the ultimate Canadian. I loved every minute of the show.
