    We All Loved The Show

by stoogeguy on 2011-07-04Casino Rama - Orillia

It was a very entertaining night with the funny jokes and all. He still has it. It was impressive, the way he covered Hank Snow and Wilf Carter too. We were glad we went. Thanks Tom.

    Exactly what we expected....

by Penski on 2011-07-04Casino Rama - Orillia

We had a great time at the Stompin Tom Concert on Saturday night. He has a great voice that hasen't changed at all with age. He looks great for his age also and is a fantastic guitar player. He seems like a very down-to-earth man......I really like him. Would love to party with him sometime! :)

Tom Was Worth Going to See!

by Lindamae on 2011-07-04Casino Rama - Orillia

Stompin Tom is a Canadian icon. What better way to spend Canada Day than to be in the presence of this wonderful Canadian entertainer. Tom may be 75 years young, but his voice is strong and his witt is still sharp. My husband and I were thoroughly entertained and "yes" we do remember the good old days at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto! Here's wishing Tom many more years of good health.

Stompin Tom is our country's diamond!

by Lifetimefan on 2011-07-03Casino Rama - Orillia

The young people can't keep up with him! Last time I seen him was in Fredericton new Brunswick 20 years ago. He's gotten better! Celebrating with him on Canada day was the best experience in my life for concerts! I was so happy I cried and sang all through the show. I wanted to see it again the next night.

Great family event. We took our three kids as we are all Stompin' Tom fans. He put on a fabulous show for a 74 yr old man. He out did our kids, they were getting tired so we had to sneak out at 11p.m. Stompin' Tom kept on tick'n. I'd definately be there to see him again.

Stompin Tom is a |Canadian Icon and he showed it all last night - 75 years old he may be but he is still just as talented and personable as always. Wouldn't have missed it for the world - Brought some Canadian pride back to all of us

    A Stompin' Good Time

by NewFaninEdmonton on 2010-09-01Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Drove 3 hours there and back to see Stompin' Tom........well worth it! Even the warm-up band was really good. Tim Hus was really funny, great voice/guitar, and cool even though there were a couple hicklers in the crowd wanting Stompin' Tom. Billy McInnis was a great fiddler - really enjoyed him singing and playing the Maple Sugar Sweetheart (?) song. Took my husband for his bday present...he's the stompin' Tom fan, but after that performance he has added another fan. Most entertaining all round!! Amazing what he can do at 75!!! Makes me wonder what he was like to see at 35?? Nice to see that there are Canadian musicians out there that are more interested in promoting national pride and identity than in promoting themselves by taking off to the big market in the US! BRAVO!! The only drawback I felt was that intermission was awfully long, around 35 minutes, while they sold various concert paraphenalia.

Great Show - Lighting , not so good

by Anonymous on 2010-09-01Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

My wife and I really enjoyed the show but .... sorry to say we were disappointed in the stage lighting. I don't believe it was up to the Jubilee's usual standards. (Possibly the lighting was adjusted to meet the artist's specifications but the result was that the band and singers faces were not clearly visable.)

    Stompin' Tom

by SparkyDoodleDandy on 2010-09-01Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

As ever, he put on a great show from start to finish. He was warm and engaging between songs through personal stories and light-hearted joke telling. Each song was full with meaning, usually stemming from a humourous and imaginative approach. It was a very entertaining evening and I would highly recommend this show for anybody of any age who enjoys pure, clean fun. A perfect night out.

    Stompin Tom was "forgettable"

by YouBetcha on 2010-09-01Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

This was a very tired presentation. Stompin Tom had little enthusiasm and it was obvious that he was bored out of his mind. The audience had to be prompted to be welcoming as they sensed the blandness of the group.
