The Venue was horrible with foldout chairs and no legroom. I will never attend another concert at the Joint. Santana started out fine but faded quickly into the same guitar riff, song after song after song - most of which songs were not his hits but tunes no one in our group wanted to hear.
Carlos: You're music was awesome. Your message of hope, kindness and will to make this planet a better place to live was right-on. I'd come back to hear you and your band anytime - anyday!!! Awesome concert!!! P.S. My favourite song is Samba Pa Ti. Maybe I'll get to hear it live next time.
It was so good that it seemed it went by in 15 minutes. Best concert we have ever seen Professional ... no gimmicks ... just fantastic guitar.

great venue, better music, up on our feet most of the show, which is good cause those little folding chairs make your bum numb, 3 percusionists, 2 horns, 2 vocalists, all fabulous but of course carlos was the star
Santana's Latin tinged music is such a wonderful, unique sound. A fabulous group of musicians backing him.
This show was the ultimate highlight of my trip to Las Vegas. One of the first record albums I bought when I was young was Santana and I have seen all my favorite bands in concert, except for Carlos. When I found out they were playing in Vegas during our trip, I jumped at the opportunity. I was excited about the concert before hand, but after the show, I was numb. Simply amazing. The performance was outstanding, the sound was superb and we could feel the love eminating from Carlos. If you are not a fan of Santana, after seeing this show, you will be !!!!

I have ALWAYS been a SANTANA fan. After this show....... I cannot imagine a better show ANYWHERE...ANYTIME. I have seen CLAPTON, ZEPELLIN, THE WHO and many many others in their haydays and as much as I loved them then AND NOW... this is the best concert my wife of 30 years and I have EVER seen........... THANK YOU CARLOS AND THE BAND
This was a great high energy concert one we will not forget. Carlos and the boys were feeling it and they gave that energy to the crowd. I could hardly walk the next day my feet hurt so bad from those heels but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. This is a must see show. We came all the way down from Salt Spring Isl BC Canada again thank you for the great trip through time.
This was the best concert I've every seen. The sound was perfect. It was loud but not deafening. Our seats were perfect (Row LL). The band played every favourite and they sounded just like on the LP/CD. I keep going back to that concert night in my mind and that's never happened before. The venue was excellent. The staff were very helpful and polite. I can only hope that the next we visit Las Vegas someone is playing at the Joint that we want to see.
A Great Show in an amazing venue. The band was great. Superb musicians in their own right. Santana rocks. 2 solid hours of great music and entertainment.
We saw Santana during a special birthday trip to LV. Our seats were 7 rows from the stage at the new Joint. It was brilliant! Carlos Santana was on stage for all of the concert, which lasted almost two hours. He spoke to the audience in a meaningful way, but mostly he just played, and played and played! We were drawn into his world, along with everyone else. We hadn't seen the old Joint, but the new venue is great, it felt intimate as a concert space, and the players weren't lost in the space. A wonderful experience and we'll go again!
We saw Santana at the Hard Rock Cafe in May this year. It was the third time we had seen him and it was fabulous as always. One of thing that strikes you about listening to Santana live, is that as good as his music is on the CD, it is even better live. You are in the presence of a true musician who loves what he does and does it exceptionally well. The music seeps into your very soul and takes over. You are aware of only one thing, you are having a fantastic time and enjoying every minute of it. Santana is an artist that I would always take the opportunity to see. He is supernatural.
The show is worthy of 4.5 stars and realy the only downfall is the price. Definitely a must-see for any avid rock music fan, regardless of age. The sound was flawless along with the musicianship. Great artist, and a venue to match.
