nice troupe, female lead was terrific, a little recitalish at times and i'd prefer a live orchestra (but understand that would be a challenge for this type of event). Ate at the Tappas lounge - food was good, very convenient, friendly service

One of the most exciting performances I've seen in years. Beautiful sets and costumes. The orchestration was phenomenal, my wife and I had a great time. The show was a little under 3 hours with 2 intermissions. Definitely wish they'll come again when our kids grow up. Not to be missed by younger generations.

I had seen the advertising two days prior to the event. I told many of my friends and most been disappointed not to have known. Please send me monthly Vancouver calendars a head of time I will pass such event information to my friends. Word of mouth is always the most effective and economical advertising. Comments: I looked at European Theaters which give 50% discounts to children & youth up to the age of 16 and people with disabilities or seniors with low income. Cultural education is very important in Canada.

The Mikhailovsky production of Swan Lake was the finest production of this ballet that I have seen. Great sets, costumes and wonderful dancing, especially from the prima ballerina. The orchestra played Tchaikovsky's music beautifully. A memorable evening.

I saw the Bolshoi Ballet perform Swan Lake in Los Angeles in the mid 1980's. The Mikhailovsky Ballet is the absolute equal to the Bolshoi. The performance was amazing. Great music masterfully performed by the orchestra and the dancers were perfect. The costumes Perfect and the Choreography was perfect. It is difficult to imagine how it could be better. I absolutely loved it and I will be staying attentive to the Mikhailovsky Ballet schedule because I want to see them again, no matter what they are performing. This is a company of true artists. I thank the producers / promoters for bringing this company to Vancouver.
