We attended the Fina swimming World Cup in the Pan Am aquatic centre. We were sitting in section 201. The sound quality (from the speakers) was awful. We could not understanding anything that the speakers were saying. It was so muffled. I am surprised: this is supposed to be an International level facility.
Beautiful venue, happy people, graceful athletes. Enjoyed watching the swimmers warm up as much as the racing. Memorable! PF
I only got tickets for four of us who train and race triathlon together to watch the final heats and races of the World Cup and we were NOT disappointed. World records were smashed and it was tremendously exciting to see club swimmers represented at such an internationally competitive event. Well organized and the TPASC is always an incredible venue. Wonderful volunteers too! Would love to attend another one.
All in all a great experience. The swimming was super. The event was clearly well organized with lots of people volunteering. Had an excellent time.
The swimming events were great, especially Summer McIntosh winning the 400 freestyle. I decided to stay to watch the last swimmers, but ended up paying for it, because when I got back to my car, it took an hour to get out of the parking lot. I would not advise holding a similarly sized event at this venue until they figure out the parking situation. It soured an otherwise great day of swimming.
Loved the event. I got to see a lot of great swimmers, and I loved that it was only a 3 day meet so I was able to see a lot of events. I also liked that it was fast paced.
Watching the great Katie Ledecky lap the field was extraordinary.
We had great seats picked out and bought tickets early. At the last minute they switched our seats out. Also my daughter's seat broke half way through the event. Very disappointed for these reasons. The swimming was great from our distant view.
