Tampe Impala on Tour
Tame Impala is Kevin Parker - the almost legendary messianic figure and creative soul who has developed the particular sonic universe of psychedelic pop cultivated with guitar pedals, delays, reverbs and liquid explosions of color. There's no one like him in the current music scene. We were left in 2015 with Currents, Tame Impala's third album which ventured further into the pop genre, and added dance beats and R&B that only served to underpin the enthronement of the Australian. For his fourth album, Tame Impala remained true to his usual impenetrability and stands silent, but we have seen him parade through a number of collaborations: he has shared the studio with Mark Ronson and SZA, he has produced Lady Gaga and Travis Scott, Rihanna covered him on her latest album, he has remixed Mick Jagger and Miguel and has released songs with A$AP, Rocky, Theophilus London and ZHU. So what does all this mean? Well, we know what Tame Impala has been until now, but we haven't a clue what will happen next. And that can only be a good thing.
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! they put on such an amazing show!! it is worth everything lol, the crowd was amazing and one of the best concerts i’ve been too
THE BEST CONCERT IVE EVER BEEN TO. literally so fun and loud and the lightshow was amazing. 10/10 recommend
This isn’t just a concert , it’s an experience This isn’t just some loud music with cool lights effects, it’s a trip to another dimension This isn’t like any other concert
i went to mtl last night and it was the first time i ever saw them. honestly the best experience i have ever lived, the people and the music makes you feel so alive. kevin is also the sweetest person on earth. if ever you have a chance to go see tame impala, please please go
Thank you Kevin and everyone else for putting on such an amazing and beautiful show in Toronto
went to their concert last night and had the best experience i’ve ever had. their amazing performance sounds even better than you could imagine and their crazy lights and effects make everything 10x better. even made friends with some strangers beside me and danced the whole night. DEFINITELY RECOMEND
If you have a chance to see Tame Impala DO IT!!!! Kevin Parker is so kind and humble and him and the band put on a fantastic show. I'm still not over it!!!!!!! Absolutely amazing, the light show and the music was all so euphoric. It was an amazing night, 10/10!
Got there early and was in Scotiabank arena past security in under 3 minutes. They started with this really trippy funny video and then the whole show had AMAZING lighting and sound and the fans are so chill and respectful too! Def going to see them again
This was an incredible concert! I bought the tickets in December 2019 and held on to them for nearly 2 and a half years before this show finally happened and OMG WAS IT EVER WORTH THE WAIT!! Between the absolutely unreal lights used and the fact that his voice sounds exactly the same live as he does recorded, I was blown away by this incredible performance! The fan involvement was also great as there were people dressed up as doctors handing out actual rushium tablets that you were told to take in a video at the start of the concert. Kevin impressed me immensely and I will for sure be back the next time he's in Toronto. Only part that sucked was the opener but it wasn't my style of music and didn't fit well with the general style of the concert. That's not on Kevin tho, everything he did in this show surpassed my expectations greatly. 1000/10 you HAVE to see this show live!
This show was one of the best concerts i’ve been to in my life. The lights, the sound, even the crowd were amazing. It was my first concert since covid, and it absolutely blew me away. Definitely need to splurge for floor seats!!
This concert was fantastic. Scotiabank Arena is perfect for this band. The visuals combined with their music was euphoric. They really know how to put on a show. You get to here them play extra snippets of their songs you won’t hear on their recordings, and you will leave their concert exhausted from dancing and screaming along to their songs.
For a first time, I expected things to be hectic and chaotic, but it was actually great! The people there were chill, the sound quality was good, and it was one of the coolest experiences. Surprised about the encore, so that was an awesome bonus.
Tame Impala was fantastic, and the sound was quite good. But getting into and out of the Budweiser Stage venue is just the worst. Lineup like cattle to get in and then again to get out. All funnelled into one area. Especially with everyone leaving afterwards. That HAS to be a fire hazard. I hope they never need to get everyone out of there in a hurry. And port o potties in a permanent venue like that?! Come on! And it's so inconveniently located. Need a new outdoor venue Toronto!!!
The experience as a whole was amazing. However my only complaint was that the 2 big screens weren’t on so we didn’t see tame impala properly. As we were in the lawn area! Other than that was awesome as per usual!
The show was so intimate despite there being thousands of people there. Tame Impala was amazing live and the visuals were stunning. I would definitely see them again!
One of the best vibes I've ever been apart of for a concert! I recommend Tame Impala to anyone who enjoys psychedelic rock. Very similar sound to The Beatles and Pink Floyd
Great band. Nice place. They must return to Toronto!
They put on a great show!! The lights were crazy and the stage setup was so cool too!! If they come back im definitely going!
My son is a huge Tame Impala fan Said this was a must see. He was 100% right Perfect weather and great live music works every time. Now if we could just fix that $15 beer thing,
they didn't play my favourite song of theirs.... must have succumbed to the #metoo craziness....
