She is, quite simply, a global superstar.
Taylor Swift is a seven-time GRAMMY winner, and the youngest recipient in history of the music industry’s highest honor, the GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year. I love Taylor Swift, and I been trying to get 2 tickets to see her in Toronto. But I am not paying those OUTRAGES prices to see Taylor. I been entering contests left and right just to get 2 tickets to see Taylor Swift. I even entered Avion Rewards to see if I was one of the lucky 25 winners. But nothing. I even enrolled on Ticketmaster saying I was a verified fan, and who in your right mind says I am not a verified fan?? Cause I am a verified fan in my own mind and I don't need anyone to say that I am not a real fan. I have been a fan of Taylor's since Our Song came out. Perfect way to ask out a girl with merely 100% success rate. I asked this really pretty girl and she said yes not only cause of Taylor but she said maybe she would want to spend dinner than go to the concert would be cool.
When Taylor was selling tickets for her first ever stadium tour, Reputation, she had people jumping through hoop ms to get tickets. You needed to watch certain videos, listen to certain songs and then it was up to the buyer to stay up to date. If you did everything those people who did it were given a verified fan status and were successful in obtaining tickets. It was the smartest thing ever! She should have done it again. THAT was the best way to keep tickets out of the hands of scalpers and bots.
I've been a die-hard fan for all my life but never been to a concert. It should tell us something that if even if my entire family (and distant) signed up for verified fan and got waitlisted, we NEED to change something.
