    Intimate and Timely

by SC on 2022-06-07Le Studio TD - Montréal

The Antlers put on an awesome, intimate show that elevates the feeling that each song is meant to evoke. They don't focus on overly fancy production and really just go up there and perform for you. The interactions with the crowd were wholesome and timely. I am excited to see them again!

Great. Really Great. It was just... Great.

by FrankieTeardrop on 2010-05-06BILTMORE CABARET - VANCOUVER

This show was one of the rare occasions in which the concert happened to be nothing like what i expected, but terrific nonetheless. In the days leading up to the show I began to really wonder not only how the three members of the Antlers would recreate the multitude of instruments found on almost every track of Hospice, but also if it was even possible to pull off the songs. What the show presented was a slightly stripped down set featuring Hospice in its entirety with a new song or two thrown in as well. The sound was great throughout and allowing the vocals to stand at the forefront of most tracks helped to keep the songs as intimiate as they sounded on the record. The crowd also really seemed to vibe with it, with the exception of one psychotic blonde girl who felt that it was appropriate music to rave-dance to (anyone who was stage right near the front knows EXACTLY who I'm talking about). Other than that, the set was excellent, and if The Antlers come to your town you should definitely do yourself a favor and check them out.

    Antlers bring Hospice to life

    by moses777 on 2010-05-05BILTMORE CABARET - VANCOUVER

Overall, a very enjoyable concert. Good opening band and minimal wait time in between acts. Antlers played the length of the album minus two songs but played a new one as well. Their live energy was great and they transformed the songs to acclimate to the live setting. The vocals were absolutely incredible, not a high note or low note missed. Can't wait to hear what these guys put out next.

    Antlers Bring Hospice to Life

by sirdude77 on 2009-09-25The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

My principal concern before the Antlers hit the stage was whether Hospice would translate well in a live performance especially at the Horsehoe. I need not have worried. The Antlers delivered with each song. They provided passionate interpretations with obvious joy. It's always fun to watch a talented group of musicians playing intelligent music not just going through the motions. Congratulations to the Antlers for a memorable show.
