    Brilliant!!

by Christichka on 2023-02-07History - Toronto

Ride was a revelation 🤯 and I had complete guitar envy. Sound was awesome! Tim Burgess put on a fabulous show, Chatlatans sounded just like I remember when they last performed back in the late 90’s. Super entertaining gig and History was cool venue.

Loud and sweaty. Too bad it was -80. The Brits looked a little traumatized by that.

    Charlatans at Danforth Music Hall

by Jrio on 2018-10-03The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I could say that The Charlatans played well,( they did), and I could say that they sound really good live, (they do), and I could say that every song they played was one that I was happy to hear live(true!!). But what made the show truly fantastic was how Tim Burgess engaged the audience creating a shared experience rather than just another show. They appear to be as happy to be on stage as we were to be in the audience. There is nothing more satisfying for a concert goer than feeling that the band love making music as much as we enjoy consuming it.

Tim is a dancing God !

by rufus12345 on 2018-09-30The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

let just say things change in time - Saw the Charlatans 20 yrs ago and it one of the best concerts i been too . Seeing them now was something i never seen before - no really ! from the pelvic thrust dancing of Mr. Burgess throughout the whole set - to the stage lighting for the show was a big let down . I can say this Tim voice was pretty good , and the band was tight which should be expected after playing as long as they have . on the whole the concert was poor , i never seen so many people walk out of a show before and i was really considering too. i am going to compare this to my worst golf game ever - like sh@#@#@ the bed all game and ever shot until you hit that one perfect shot which makes the game - that was their last song they played -it made me not hate the charlatans uk after this concert .
