From the floor the sound was good and show was entertaining. They did seem to forget that they were in Canada and not the US. I can forgive them because they were filming for a dvd and wanted to get their message across.

About
The Chicks are one of country music’s most influential and boundary-pushing groups. Formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1989 by sisters Emily Strayer and Martie Maguire, The Chicks (formerly known as the Dixie Chicks) rocketed to pop stardom with the addition of lead vocalist Natalie Maines in 1995. The multi-platinum trio would go on to win 12 Grammy Awards and become the best-selling female band of all time in the U.S., with 33 million albums sold worldwide. By blending honky-tonk with bluegrass and soaring pop vocals, The Chicks appealed to a diverse audience that stretched far beyond their country roots. Signature hits like 1999’s “Cowboy Take Me Away” and 1998’s “Wide Open Spaces,” along with their bluegrass virtuosity, saw The Chicks go from opening for Tim McGraw in 1999 to headlining massive concert tours that have sold over $100 million in tickets. 2020’s Gaslighter (produced by Jack Antonoff) was The Chicks’ first album in 14 years, and the catalyst for a 2023 tour where country-pop superstar Maren Morris will join the trio on a string of dates.

Worst sound at a concert ever
by Jondog on 2016-10-05Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 1 out of 5Terrible sound at this concert, wouldn't recommend it
Another great concert
by ChlobearsMomma on 2016-10-05Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5These ladies know how to entertain. While they do have a strong female audience with great music and lyrics even men can appreciate why great artists they are and all of the instruments they incorporate into their performances. The new arena has only one disappointment. Floor seats no longer have bar access just outside the door:-(
Terrible Sound
by zavraun on 2016-10-05Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 1 out of 5We were excited to see and hear the Dixie Chicks. Unfortunately, the sound was terrible. Voices were drowned out by the musicians and there was a constant buzz. The best part of the show was having them sit down at the front of the stage. Sound was better.
great performers
by olddog007 on 2016-10-05SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 4 out of 5Elle King was great, really enjoyed her set. Chick's, would have liked to hear more of older songs. They put on a great performance, very talented. Music level too high, sometimes hard to make out vocals.
Dixie Chicks Long Time Gone!
by becksha04 on 2016-10-05Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 2 out of 5Don't really know why I bought these tickets, except that I loved them before. I've seen them every time they've come to Edmonton. What a money grab this time - haven't recorded anything new in 10 years! I guess I'm the sucker here! The sound mixing was horrendous. This is supposed to be a professional group, & the sound was as bad as a bar! I don't know if the recording of the DVD had anything to do with the poor sound quality, but I was thoroughly disappointed! If you want to make a documentary don't make your fans suffer through horrible sound. Stage presence by the chicks was not great.
Dixie Chicks ~ Sing it Out!
by Dollywood1 on 2016-10-04Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5Good light and stage show. Not the best sound quality. Pretty loud. Not much interaction with the crowd.
The Dixie Chicks Are Rock Stars!!
by Shoegirl1981 on 2016-10-04Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5The Dixie Chicks put on an amazing performance! Hands down, one of the best concerts I've ever been to. If they came back to Edmonton tomorrow, I would go again! Love, love, loved every second of the show!

by Yonk on 2016-10-04SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 1 out of 5I was very disappointed! It was so LOUD that we couldn't enjoy the wonderful harmony of these sweet girls!! We didn't stay for the encore. Really sad when we paid all that money!!!!!!!!!!
Dixie Chicks Rock!
by eladen on 2016-10-04SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5The Dixie Chicks were awesome! I loved their use of backgrounds, they added so much to the show.
Dixie Chicks Edmonton
by rebdmm on 2016-10-04Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5Great performance and great venue. They girls really know how to put on a show. Only one request is to bring the music down a. It so you can here the singing as well. Loud is good but not at the sacrifice of the vocals. Didn't care for the opening act.
Undone by the sound engineers
by SeanTCG on 2016-10-04SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 3 out of 5So very excited for this concert! LOVE Elle King, LOVE Dixie Chicks. Such real, high quality talent! Then Elle King comes out and she's even better than expected. Her voice is so unique, and she can really pull you into her music. But when she's live, there's even more character, even more soul. The key here is that we could HEAR HER and that allowed us to APPRECIATE HER. Then the Dixie Chicks come out, and I have to assume they brought different sound engineers with them. I mean, if you allowed yourself to be generous and tolerant, you could tell that the Chicks were also awesome live and their talent completely lived up to expectations. But if you didn't, then all you could hear was drums, and noise. Anything above a mid range was distorted and mixed together so badly it was hard to discern vocals amongst the screechy, harsh sound coming out of the speakers. Completely took away from the whole concert. My wife literally covered her ears for most of the Chicks because she couldn't handle it. Usually, you really get into the concert and never want it to end. The sound made it feel like a marathon. So frustrating, because it was obvious it wouldn't have been that way if only the sound had been set up properly.
Dixie Chicks still ROCK!!!
by Anonymous on 2016-10-04Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5Elle King was awesome--really enjoyed her music. The Dixie Chicks were amazing-they did not disappoint. They still rock and the vocals were outstanding. Still glad they have their sense of humor!!!
Dixie Chicks Excellent Show
by Anonymous on 2016-10-04SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5Both the Dixie Chicks and Elle King put on an excellent show. High energy and a good mix of music.
Dixie Chicks MMXVI was excellent
by Oldtimers on 2016-10-04SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 4 out of 5Concert was great, Elle King was great. My only criticism was that the instruments often were too loud to hear the singing. The acoustic section was very good. Stage and video clips were excellent!
Dixie chicks
by 200sarethenew300s on 2016-10-04Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 1 out of 5Meh! Too political! Have we not gotten every last laugh out of George bush?
Absolutely stunning
by Skyskier on 2016-10-04Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5I have only attended a few concerts that were so intense everyone stood for the entire show. This was one of them. They were filming a dvd, which I can't wait to come out. The show included all their hits.
