The Chicks are one of country music’s most influential and boundary-pushing groups. Formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1989 by sisters Emily Strayer and Martie Maguire, The Chicks (formerly known as the Dixie Chicks) rocketed to pop stardom with the addition of lead vocalist Natalie Maines in 1995. The multi-platinum trio would go on to win 12 Grammy Awards and become the best-selling female band of all time in the U.S., with 33 million albums sold worldwide. By blending honky-tonk with bluegrass and soaring pop vocals, The Chicks appealed to a diverse audience that stretched far beyond their country roots. Signature hits like 1999’s “Cowboy Take Me Away” and 1998’s “Wide Open Spaces,” along with their bluegrass virtuosity, saw The Chicks go from opening for Tim McGraw in 1999 to headlining massive concert tours that have sold over $100 million in tickets. 2020’s Gaslighter (produced by Jack Antonoff) was The Chicks’ first album in 14 years, and the catalyst for a 2023 tour where country-pop superstar Maren Morris will join the trio on a string of dates.

Great sound and show by The Chicks and Maren Morris ! HVAC Air circulation was poor. The space was stuffy.
I waited my whole life to experience these ladies live! Hands down the most amazing time of my life! Tears were streaming down my face as I listened to them sing the songs I've sang for 20 years! I LOVED IT!
The show was great, they sang hits/old favourites and songs from the newest album, the graphics, lighting and camerawork was great. Vocals excellent of course and seeing the girls play so many instruments live and with so much chemistry was awesome. They are definitely in a renaissance right now! If i have any advice it’s to go see the show !! and wear your cowboy boots!!
Marin Moore was great. First set of the Chicks was amazing. Last part not so great. Less energy and more political.
The Chicks put on a great show! I would definitely go and see them again. They sound exactly like their records….. I didn’t notice anything bad at all except for the guys sitting next to us! They just wouldn’t shut up!! And Thank you for bringing back the egg rolls….. they made our night!
I found the show not very long but it was good and they sounded great. No encore at the end which is rare for concerts.
The Chicks sounded great. They're still as relevant as ever. Visuals were on spot. Venu was very good.
Still very talented. Worth the $$! Definitely recommend.
Venue was great as usual! Maren Morris started promptly at 8:00 and was fabulous! She thanked us all for coming a day earlier than originally scheduled and she gave us some of her career background. Her music was awesome! The main event, The Chicks, followed soon after and did not disappoint! Perfect! Personal and heartfelt and all the hits were performed, along with newer music. We were introduced to her band and her drummer hailed from Winnipeg! Seemed all could play more than one instrument and the singing, of course, was great! Highly recommend!
I was expecting the old songs, blast from the past. Nope! Felt like I was in a political rally. Total waste of money. I felt duped.
I would like to sit on lower a level too high where is sat and was afraid to move.other than that the concert was awesome left to early to beat traffic and I still had to get down from up there , luckily I made it,scary and steep.
Loved it all! The edge of the Chicks with Maren kicking it off. The talent is amazing with all the instruments and soulful voices! So great the Chicks drummer got to be home for an evening too!
Concert was great but we paid over 200 for floor tickets and people from section 300 just asked if they can move and got moved to the floor section at no additional cost!!!
They were amazing and empowering and nostalgic. LOVED IT! It was worth every penny!
Marren Morris was amazing, very power voice, especially her "My Church"finally. Chicks were great, we really enjoyed the show. Great girls night out
Great concert from the warmup to the headliners. Only comment is could they increase the volume on the vocals and dial back the music just a touch. Otherwise delivered a truly great performance.
Literally the best concert ever!! They sounded exactly like they do in their recorded songs and the stage set up was very engaging. I wish they would have done an encore and brought back out their opener and I wish they had a larger screen to see them on from the upper bowl
The Chicks never disappoint. The trio is truly punk rock at heart, they’ve found their calling, are liberated, and get better with age and time. Their stage presence, voices, charisma, and sheer musical talent make them a delight to see IRL. I only wish I bought closer seats. One of the best live shows I’ve seen in a very long time.
I’m 29 years old and have waited what feels like my entire life to see The Chicks live. I can honestly say that it was beyond my wildest dreams. The sound was amazing, and their performance was incredible and dynamic! If I could give 10 stars, I would. Don’t take too long to come back to Winnipeg!
