The Chicks are one of country music’s most influential and boundary-pushing groups. Formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1989 by sisters Emily Strayer and Martie Maguire, The Chicks (formerly known as the Dixie Chicks) rocketed to pop stardom with the addition of lead vocalist Natalie Maines in 1995. The multi-platinum trio would go on to win 12 Grammy Awards and become the best-selling female band of all time in the U.S., with 33 million albums sold worldwide. By blending honky-tonk with bluegrass and soaring pop vocals, The Chicks appealed to a diverse audience that stretched far beyond their country roots. Signature hits like 1999’s “Cowboy Take Me Away” and 1998’s “Wide Open Spaces,” along with their bluegrass virtuosity, saw The Chicks go from opening for Tim McGraw in 1999 to headlining massive concert tours that have sold over $100 million in tickets. 2020’s Gaslighter (produced by Jack Antonoff) was The Chicks’ first album in 14 years, and the catalyst for a 2023 tour where country-pop superstar Maren Morris will join the trio on a string of dates.

My 3rd time seeing The Chicks! I love them, they always put on an amazing concert! See you next time😊
The Chicks are one of my all time favourites. My cousin and I would drive around and put on the cassette tape in the car while having it being played loud and we would sing along to it to the top of our lungs. So seeing them in concert for the second time around was a dream come true. And we had awesome seat.
I saw The Chicks 10 years ago when they were here and it was amazing. This time was not great. We couldn’t see the screens as we were on the side stage and the stage was not far enough back. They didn’t play enough old stuff even though the crowd went wild every time they did and almost fell silent when they played their new stuff. No encore and we left feeling like we overpaid and were underwhelmed.
Love the Chicks but didn,t get to enjoy them. Four drunk silly women in front of us who stood all the time as they screamed and danced and let strangers drink booze from between their breasts! And 8 horrible, drunk men behind us who made they ugliest comments about everything but the concert at the top of their lungs - chanting Go oilers Go while we were trying to watch the Chicks. Neither party could reign in their bad drunken behaviour so we asked to be moved (as well as the party in the two seats to our right) Security tried to remove them but in the end they were allowed to stay - we could see them from our new seats. I anm sad about this because it’s my very last concert at Rogers because the crowds just seem to be getting more unruly ! Why waste my money.
The Chicks knocked it out of the park. The fact that they've stood by their Liberal beliefs and made it so much about their program despite the Right Wing rhetoric makes me respect and enjoy them even more. Go Chicks
I love the Chicks songs and the the enthusiasm of the crowd. The sound was really bad! I’m not sure what the issue might be…lots of buzzing , static noise and we couldn’t clearly hear the vocals..words were not clear.
The show was wonderful, really enjoyed it. the crowd was really into it from the start. Even allowing for the sound problems in the 1st half of their show it did not spoil the experience . Great performers and great music. we would certainly go to see them again
It was a fabulous concert! They are amazing musicians, great role models for women and I would definitely see them again. They had the crowd in their hands, singing, clapping and empowering them. No one left the concert without a smile on their face and amazement for the show they put on.
The Chicks put off a very entertaining show. The sound and value for the price was great, considering the obscene prices other entertainers are charging. The only thing lacking were screens/monitors for the upper levels. They only had two, both facing the front. Anyone sitting in the upper levels, near the side could not see the monitors.
My 3rd time seeing the Chicks. This was by far the best. Great show, high energy, mix of classics & newer tracks. Loved the politics! Art should reflect our lives and these are troubled times. A tribute to women every where. Most of the entire arena standing & singing along all the way thru. My new favourite song is Gaslighter! Landslide was amazing!
Loved every bit of the show especially the opening with Maren Morris!!!
We lived in the Southern US during the 9/11 Bush years and heard first hand the awful things/threats people said. Was always a fan, became more so. Love these women and they get better every year 💚
It was boring, it had too much political nature, it was bot entertaining, do not recommend
Sat in row 20, seat 23 on the floor. It was amazing. I cried, laughed, and lost my voice from singing along. It was so amazing to see these talented ladies whom I’ve loved since I was a teen.
We sat side stage which is usually a great view but there was obstruction and they only really sing to the floor. But entertaining nonetheless. Love them
The chicks had great energy. I was sad that they didn’t sing more of their older hits from the album Fly. Set list.com shows their set list and maybe worth reviewing before purchasing a ticket to this show.
It was an amazing concert until it became political and American political to boot. They lost the audience for 4 songs. They brought it back at the end and finished on a high note but I wouldn't say best concert ever. Little bit sad about that. Been a die-hard chicks fan since the 90's.
Don’t know how else to put it! It really was the best concert ever!
The Chicks need to stay in their lane! We get it, if you’re not happy with the political situation in the USA, run for office! So disappointing, Natalie congratulations on your raging political lyricism. Waste of money, I’m still angry. Doubtful I will admit I paid for the “concert” because it was a musical lecture at best.
