Great to see this show that we regularly listen to on CBC radio live! Steve Patterson was witty as always. The two debaters were very funny, and also did some stand up comedy at the beginning. Well worth the time and money!
Great fun adult night fir our group. The show was fresh and hilarious!!! But again, The Debators usually are!!!!

A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. All three comedians were excellent and the debates were very funny. Glad to have seen them in person.
Laughed so hard my face hurt. Great show in a perfectly sized and very comfortable NAC theatre. Too bad it wasn’t actually recorded ... a lot of good stuff!
Overall, the experience was a positive one. The venue was easy to get to, parking was reasonable and close by and the venue itself was great. The host, Steve Patterson was great! Very quick-witted and funny guy who is excellent at his job as host. I was, however, split on the two debaters. Graham Chittenden was fantastic! Extremely clever and was responsible for the nights funniest moments. However I found the other debater, DeAnne Smith completely unfunny. Unfortunately for DeAnne, being a Justin Bieber look-a-like and a (self proclaimed) dog-loving, flannel-wearing vegan doesn't automatically make you a funny person. Just annoying. I would consider going again but only if Ms. Smith was replaced with someone who actually made me laugh.

Very entertaining. Expected to be taping for CBC but it wasn’t - it was a Debaters Live event.. so they didn’t have to be as family friendly as on the radio. (Which would have been fine too.) Great all around comedy show!
This show was excellent! Great vibe, Steve really warmed up the crowd. Would definitely go again if they come to anywhere in my area.
First off I was disappointed the show was not being recorded - I had booked our tickets partially out of curiosity to see the radio show being recorded. As a long time fan of The Debaters I had hoped for a higher quality of comedy than we were given - they have so many really good comedians on their show normally, so that was also a surprise and disappointment. The venue is awful - no vendors what so ever and no area for standing around at intermission - it's a very odd design, I would never attend anything there again.
This show was awesome! My wife and I both listen to the show on the radio and it felt exactly the same. All 3 comedians on stage were hilarious, and i think the best part was the quick comebacks they all seemed to have with each other. Tons of laughs. Will definitely be back if they are ever in the area again.
Fun lively numerous well organized. Venue was lovely. One thing - serve wine and beer. Most venues offer drinks before and at intermission. Makes the event more enjoyable.
Enjoyed the event a lot. Was hoping there would be 4 comedians but the standup was a nice surprise and Steve Patterson very funny and also thoughtful in greeting and signing books later. Probably a bit spicy for Abbotsford (I think the comedians found it a challenging crowd) but overall very enjoyable.
Such a great show. Wonderful evening of laughter. Clever wit and sharp humour. Can’t wait to see the next show. Thank you
This was a very enjoyable performance...lots of laughs. I don't know if this was advertised as a family friendly event or not as I was not bringing children so didn't pay attention. There were children in the audience and some of the content was really not appropriate for them.
Got the tickets for my dad's birthday present and boy was it worth the wait!!!! Six debates that were so hilariously funny that by the time the show was over, my dad and I had sore throats and hands, but were happy that we had seen the entire thing, before the editing. Highly recommend getting tickets for this show, should they come through Toronto again!!!!!!!
This year, we went with 2 other couples who also thoroughly enjoyed it.
I took my 13 years old daughter and loved seeing how much she was laughing to what was being said. Steve did a great job putting on such a funny show
Using 2 comics for 2 debates and filling it with standup and book reading is not putting the best foot forward for the venue and ticket price. Still, a few moments were priceless. 4 debaters in a round robin style of 4 debates is probably the way to go.
Very funny show if you love comedy then this is a must see
