Sampras was great, one of the tennis legend, the game was great, but just too late, they started play @ 9pm, the other thing is the autograph session @ 6:30pm is a mess, hear lots of complain abou it, lucky that I get both Raonic & Sampras autograph

More audience involved games prior to event or.serving cage. Longer or multiple autograph sessions.

    Sampras Raonic Review

by nurjuzut on 2011-11-21Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Overall event was very well done except the autographing session was too short and many people did not get a chance to meet the players and get autographs. Also, I think if some of the players wore microphones that would have added some personality to the event.

too much circus and not enough real tennis

by highjump on 2011-11-21Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Disappointed with the overall quality of the event, I didn't need to see all the B-list celebs, a total waste of time. Would have preferred to see round robin of top junior and senior youth from high performance development programs.

    Use the force, Hayden!

by Anonymous on 2011-11-21Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Had a great night. Contrary to what I expected, Sampras showed his light hearted side... the highlight of the night was the 2 boys singing the Milos Raonic song.

The Face-Off: Sampras vs. Raonic was enjoyable.

by StarsonIceFan on 2011-11-21Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Of course there was much going on with other award winning tennis players before the final match. A video or interview ( with both together instead of just after their game) showing how Milos had Sampras as a "hero" and role model , and how the event was put together would have been interesting. I was surprised the audience wasn't larger given the success of the 20 year old overseas. Some of the pre-events could have been more exciting. All in all it was a pleasant event and you had a choice of some excellent seats.

Not worth the money or the time

by Anonymous on 2011-11-21Air Canada Centre - Toronto

This is a poorly organized event and not very entertaining. I think that the event should have been planned out better and filled with more engaging concent. I like Milos and love Pete Sampras, but this was definitely not worth the time or the money.

    bad tennis event

by dabbd on 2011-11-21Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Wow, I was excited to got to his but Brad May and Gord Martineau? Come on? Brutal. It was a cheesy event and way to expensive for what we got, should have been at a local outdoor club, and the kids singing, brutal, bush league. The only glimmer of interest was the first set , good tennis, then Pete mailed it in, much more interested in being off the court than on. Would love my money back but I know that's not going to happen.

Great night. I thought the whole night was great fun of course topped off with the match between Sampras and Raonic!!! The commentator was hilarious and really made the first part of the evening when they were playing the doubles a total 'scream'!! Hope they do more nights like this in the future.

    The Face Off was exceptional

by Dimitrios on 2011-11-20Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Very entertaining event Good mix of fun and serious tennis Sampras was impressive If Sampras is not using any of his 43 millions earned professionally, perhaps he would consider a small extension to Dimitrios, his Greek brother from another mother!

    The Face-Off: Sampras vs. Raonic

by lkjkljj on 2011-11-20Air Canada Centre - Toronto

really enjoyed the event; great to see Pete Sampras play again; the pre-events were unexpected and good fun. One great set; wish the 2nd could have been closer, but it was obvious that Pete's back was bothering him that night..... it ended too soon, would have liked to see more! Good first time event, disappointing to see the small crowd; look forward to the next time; sure it will be even better. Good support event for our tennis hopefuls.

Nice to to Pete and MIlos. Disappointing event!

by Rodgyver on 2011-11-20Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I was pretty turned by having celebrities playing with the pros. To be honest, I'm paying to see good tennis and not a circus. The match between Sampras and Raonic started very late and I could tell Sampras serve slowed down A LOT in the second set. It made me feel that it was time to pack and go. I wasn't expecting Sampras to beat Raonic in Toronto, but I would've like seeing the match to be a bit more competitive. Overall, I happy for Milos for being able to turn a dream into a reality.

Sampras vs. Raonic - A Rip Off!?

by sherrose on 2011-11-20Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I drove in from the Niagara peninsula. I arrived at 6:30 for an event that was to start at 7:00 pm. As it turned out the main event, the match between Raonic and Sampras didn't start until after 9:00 pm.....by which time I had been sitting in my seat for 2.5 hours!! Given that Friday was a work day and the drive home is approximately 1.5 hours -- I left at the end of the first set....along with many many others. Bottom line, I wouldn't have paid $100.00 x 2 to watch some celebrities etc bat the ball around, nor would I have driven for 2.5-3 hours! The advertising was deceptive. And all the 'fun stuff' could have been scheduled differently. I was very disappointed....and now that I've had a few days to reflect....I'm REALLY disappointed and feel ripped off!?

Face-off was a great exhibition match

by AndyJC on 2011-11-20Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Pete Sampras and Raonic's match was the highlight of the evening. It would be great to see other famous tennis players come to this venue.

    FaceOff was awesomely entertaining!

by vuvy on 2011-11-20Air Canada Centre - Toronto

We thoroughly enjoyed the FaceOff from beginning to end. It was a fabulous combination of tennis and entertainment, with great skill and humour all wrapped up in one event. It was also great to see such incredible diverse representation from the entertainment and sports world that are CANADIAN!!!

    Turn down the noise

by snowbike on 2011-11-20Air Canada Centre - Toronto

The main event, Raonic vs Sampras, was good tennis, great to see that Pete can still play well. Milos put on a good show, served a couple at about 220 km/hr. Very enjoyable match. Would have liked the ladies' match to have been longer than one set though. The MC was awful! Seemed to think that this was a WWF or a monster truck event going on. His motto must be the louder the better, if I shout into the microphone more the audience will really love it! Music blaring, ads running, right up to the moment a player was about to serve, to the point the umpire had to motion for it to stop so the game could resume. Bush league, not what tennis fans want.

    Sampras and Roanic was fun

by TonyRexdale on 2011-11-20Air Canada Centre - Toronto

The MC truly made the show entertaining and there was good variety to mix it up with the special guests. The tennis was good as well. It was fun.

    Sampras still great

by Costin on 2011-11-20Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Sampras was great for one hour, after which Milos took over. Milos was great throughout. Celebrities section was pathetic. The girls match lacked any kind of heart. Honestly, you might've have well limited the event to Sampras-Raonic; the rest was a total waste of time.
