We went to the Friday Jan 4th, 2020 show, we all were absolutely entertained. A great show from start to finish.
The show was quite fun and well paced considering the number of magicians presenting. My 5 year old daughter was having a great time, so did my husband and I. We kept talking about the show even days after.
I enjoyed the theatre aspect of the show but many of the tricks were very easy to anticipate and figure out. Is this due to my age? Am outside of the demographic? Maybe. The host was hilarious and fun. He really saved the show, IMHO. The thrower of many discs didn't tickle my fancy at all. Those are the two extremes. Still at the high-end were the costume changer's performance. It was fun and funny. Worth seeing but take a few young people with you: They'll really get the joy out of the show.
Amazing performance, high level of entertainment. I recommend going to this show to anyone and a WOW will come out of your mind! Live it! The wine served at the venue was the only thing that sucked.
Brilliant show, headliner Steve Valentine was fantastic! Have been to the New Years magicians / Illusionists shows for the last several years and have really enjoyed them all. Great performances by all the entertainers and we will definitely come see them again.
Very enjoyable show!! Doesn't matter if you believe in magic or not the cast are excellent entertainers.
Illusions, close-up magic, mentalism, daring escapes, and technological spectacle performed by master entertainers. Steve Valentine "the Showman" was amazing! Two hours flew by, would've enjoyed another hour.
Absolutely loved it đ had marvellous time, It went like blink of the eye đ¤Š
My kids and I were really looking forward to this experience. My kids 9 and 7 enjoy watching magic shows at The Ex, other fairs and at the museum of Illusions. We had such high expectations. There were two tricks that were maybe âwowâ, the rest were mediocre. To much time spent on cars tricks. Any illusionist can do that. I spent almost $400. Not worth it. Donât waist your money.
The Illusionists was terrific! Great for the whole family. Super entertaining. The time flew by.
We had a fantastic time! It was an awesome family experience. I would recommend seeing it. Job well done!
MC was funny and a great magician. Clothes change artists remarkable. A couple of the performances were a bit odd - not sure what they were trying to achieve. I always bring my nephews. They enjoyed it but not as much as previous years. Its an expensive outing. Hoping it returns to higher level of Wow factor next year.
Truly well done. A great balance of action and routines among individuals and acts across a wide range of skills. Very fun time.
I would say this show was as close to the "standard" magic show as it can get... Has 1 of each of the basic skills doing, some really safe (hard to mess up) stage routines. The escape is definitely targeted at children... Most peplle know how gravel will bounce on a hard surface and the absolute racquet it will make falling from 4 feet. If you dont work in the circus industry, its a good show to take the kids to. If you are in the induatey, it will feel pretty flat and possibility not worth the price. As a side note: Was the third show i have seen Dizzy in, and he was just as delightful this time around as previous.
Went with my 5 grandkids. They were on the edge of their seats. Great magic and hilarious comedy!
Bought tix for Christmas for the family. Kids aged 11, 10, 8 and two adults. Everyone enjoyed the show! Both kids and adults were laughing out loud at the host. After the show my 10 yr old said âwell that was the best!â. Would definitely recommend!
First time to this particular theatre, the location and seating layout inside is fantastic. While the overall experience of the Illusionists was entertaining and face paced, we were disappointed that only two acts met our expectations in terms of thrill and excitement. Not convinced that the price we paid for our 6 seats was money well spent.
What a fabulous show! Lots of variety, with a very entertaining fellow leading it all (we loved the reappearing card trick and my kids totally loved the elf tricks!). The quick change artists were fabulous. Loved it all; great show for the entire family (which is often hard to find)!
We took our 3 kids - 9, 15 and 20 and they all enjoyed it!! It was a great family event!!
Really good performance from all of them an amazing experience and valentine is a very funny character we had a really good time thank you
