Anne Lindsay was a revelation. Never heard Jim Cuddy so good

Jim Cuddy certainly did not disappoint his Blue Rodeo fans by strategically mixing in a few BR tunes into songs from his new album. Devin Cuddy (his son) made for a fine opening act and even joined his father onstage during the finale. Anne Lindsay wowed the crowd with her impressive violin chops. All in all, a great evening from one of Canada's finest musicians!

If you enjoyed listening to Blue Rodeo in the 1980's and beyond, as well as Jim Cuddy's independent work, do yourself a favour and go to see The Jim Cuddy Band. You won't regret it!

Jim Cuddy Concert was Amazing. Played songs from his new Album, then hits from Blue Rodeo and his Solo Career. Can tell the Band has been together for awhile. Move seemless from song to song. The addition of the Violinist add another Strong Musical Element. She blew the audience away multiple times. Can't wait for the next time they visit Ottawa.

Music was great, his storytelling is so good. My only complaint was that sometimes his words were garbled. Not clear. Not sure if there was a problem with the sound system. He is a nice looking man. Anne Lyndsay on violin was just amazing!!

Great venue and excellent musical experience!! So great to see Jim Cuddy again.

I grew up to the sound of Bob Dylan, branched off to Rock and eventually Metal. Throughout my journey I was influenced by Opera and the classics in my home. I’ve been to the NAC for many of those experiences and yet to disappoint. My wife is very much influenced by folk and country. We’ve been to a number of Blue Rodeo and Jim Cuddy shows. I can’t say enough about the man as an artist and his group. Music acuity, story telling and presence are captivating. His band are well tuned and collaborative. They ended our show all members on stage without amplifiers singing in harmony. Very personal and touching. The audience were transformed. I would say to you, they are worth the visit.

People decide to leave their seats (from the back area) and think it’s OK to stand in front of the stage or in the isles in front of seated (higher cost tickets) so our view is obstructed. There are security people there who do nothing. Started quite early in the show. Very frustrating! Please do something about this. Devin Cuddy band and Jim Cuddy band were awesome.

From the opening act to the very last song this was an amazing performance. My only negativity was people who lack respect to get up at the front. Even by security guards going to speak with them. They had no respect for the rest of us.

Wow, what a great night of fantastic music. The Devin Cuddy Band opened and they got things off to a great start. Couldn't wait to buy a CD and meet Devin during the intermission. Then Jim's band wow'd the full house with some old favorites and a number of songs from their new album. Devin joined them for a few numbers including an unplugged encore that was outstanding and intimate.

If you are wondering if you should go to the Jim Cuddy Band show or not....DO IT! We just attended the Orpheum show and it was amazing. Jim and his band are all very talented musicians. What a night! It was exciting to hear his new music as well as some Blue Rodeo favourites. The headliner was Devin Cuddy, Jim's son, who is also a very talented musician. Thank you for the great show!

The show was fantastic. Jim Cuddy was awesome, per usual as I’m a big fan. The band rocked it out. Anne Lindsay was rocking her violin, Colin Cripps was fantastic and even though Baz was hiding in the back, he was also rocking it. Can’t wait for the next show.

Just a great show by a true Canadian icon so glad we got the opportunity to attend

Last mins I found out Jim and his brand were coming to Vancouver BC. We luckily did not miss that show on 12 th. His brand played very vibrant instrumental ectrical guitars. Which has been my favorite part of his shows. His songs always good and easy to listening. We enjoyed very much.

This was a great show! This band is so well oiled and really love what they give to the crowd! Great opening performance and an outstanding musical experience! Venue was perfect. My wife is a huge fan of all things Jim Cuddy and she had the time of her life. I am a lesser fan but really enjoy a band that can put out such fun and brilliant solo efforts throughout the night! Bravo!!

The best concert I went to in along time his band was fantastic his son Devin good too after concert I saw Jim Cuddy by his bus got pictures with him he autographed my Jim Cuddy CD nice guy

I loved the venue, usually go to the larger ones and with this one the experience was so much more personal, the Band telling the stories behind the song was so much more intimate. Changed the way I would like to view my live music experience in the future
