The Joy Formidable always puts on an incredible show. We saw the for the first time this past fall in Pioneertown California and loved them so much we looked up the tour, and saw they happened to be playing our city on the day of our wedding anniversary! Perfect night!

Incredible show!!! Joy Formidable is an amazing band and they absolutely blew me away. Also Guards and Fort Lean were fantastic.

  • TJM burned the place down!

Very solid show and a much more cohesive effort than the last time the Joy Form were thru town and year and a half ago when they played the Rickshaw. Why are these guys not more popular? I thought I heard someone say they were charging $22 at the door. You simply can’t beat that to see a band this bombastic. The drummer is ridulously good, Ritzy is cool in a 'friend's kid sister' type of way and the bass player ended the show with an epic stage dive. These guys do nothing but bring it...

  • The Joy Formidable were awesome once again

The Joy Formidable put on a typically excellent show. All 3 of them seemed to have a great time and their high-energy performance made sure the audience did as well. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

  • The Joy was FORMIDABLE!

One of the best shows ever! The show had great energy! I was so impressed by their sound, true to who they are. They were friendly and engaging with the crowd. Fantastic group to watch and look out for in future!

  • very solid

Very Solid show. The band sounded great and did a good job connecting with the audience. I think these guys are going to be big. Keith Moon style drummer with a little blond dynamo lead singer/guitar player. Had a couple technical issues but handled them easily. Seem more seasoned than they are.

  • I want some more

One of the Best shows of the year, a little gem. High energy, great sound, played all the songs better live which is always a sign of a great honest band that continues to do it their own way. Best Welsh band, one of Britians great exports. They played Vancouver just like the played Austin, 100%.....a must see gig.
