About

The Offspring are a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California. Led by founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland since 1986, The Offspring have released 11 studio albums and sold over 40 million records globally. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 1989, followed by 1992’s Ignition and 1994’s Smash. Behind breakout Mainstream Rock Airplay singles “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away,” Smash went on to sell over 11 million records, earn six RIAA platinum certifications and set the record for the highest-selling album released by an independent label. Ixnay on the Hombre in 1997 notched The Offspring’s first No. 1 single on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Gone Away,” while 1998’s Americana hit the band’s chart peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 on its way to netting five RIAA platinum certifications and three more Alternative Airplay Top 10 singles: “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)” and “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” The Offspring later topped the Alternative Airplay chart again with “Hit That” from 2003’s Splinter and “You're Gonna Go Far, Kid” from 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. The Offspring logged two more Mainstream Rock Airplay chart-toppers with “Coming for You” and the title track from 2021’s Let the Bad Times Roll. In 2024, The Offspring released their 12th album Supercharged

  • I can die happy now :)

Show was amazing! I drove from London to Toronto with my friend and had a blast. I grew up with the Offspring and have always been a huge fan, and they did not let down. The show was high energy and LOUD!!! Was sitting 2nd row centre had a great view of the show. Guys played perfectly, lots of songs, lots of energy and heart, could tell the audience was really into it. Stage and lights were excellent really neat patterns(marching guy) and what not. Really set the mood. Gotta love the pretty lights :P

  • Off the Wall with Offspring!

I go to a lot of shows, but this was one I was looking forward to and was not disappointed. Pennywise opened the show and kept it real with some nice traditional punk, including a Misfits cover. I'm not familiar with this band, but they were fantastic! The Offspring came out and had everybody out of their seats and kept them out for the rest of the night. High energy, good sound and played most of the songs you want to hear if you saw The Offspring, but were not familiar with the band. For those like myself who love the older catalogue as well, they did not disappoint. A fantastic evening with all of my punk rock brothers and sisters and the crowd was so friendly and openly joked with strangers, held each others beers and lovingly stuck their heads in your car window to shout their approval to your musical choice when you were leaving for the evening. Good live music, with good people. Punk rock IS good for your soul!

by TheCrow on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Good venue but not so much in sound quality. The band was not load enough. I have seen them before at the Kool Haus and that was way better.

  • Offspring Pennywise

  • Offspring rocked out!

    by Frenchy84 on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I love a lot of their old music and wanted them to play Self esteem and keep em seperated. It was the highlight of my night that i finally got to hear those songs live! Great band and great night!

  • Offspring knows how to entertain!!

by Getsmart on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The whole night was very entertaining!! Frank Turner did a good job warming up the crowd. Pennywise really knows how to work an audience. The Offspring also put on a great tight set. The only hit they missed was Original Prankster. But with so many other great songs it didn't make a huge difference. The only negative comment I'll make is....their set could have been longer (and included Prankster). The sound was crystal clear and the band was very tight. Great night of entertainment!!

  • The Offspring

by Bareass on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Pennywise is getting too old to perform their music. The offspring didn't play nearly long enough.

  • Offspring brought down the house!

by Gallagorious on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Being my first time at an Offspring show, I was more than excited to hear Noodles and Dexter open with a classic riff. Before they took the stage, the crowd was more than warmed up between the acoustic and catchy riffs of the solo Frank Turner and the traditional crunch punk music of the always delightful Pennywise. By the time the Offspring was ready to take the stage, the crowd was almost in riot mode for these guys. Everyone song was one hit after another and the light show was nothing short of spectacular! Dexter even surprised the crowd with a piano rendition of "Gone Away" which only made the crowd want more standard Offspring tunes. Definitely worth the cost of the ticket.

  • Come back to Toronto!

    by m3austy on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Classic Offspring plus their awesome new tracks equal total wickedness. Don't buy seats! Get in the action and jump around in the pit with the crowd! Be sure to bring an extra shirt with you because it can get pretty sweaty. A+++++ concert.

  • Offspring rocked!

by tigers on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

They were definately pretty fly for white guys!!!!!

  • The Offspring, Nothing can compete.

by StitichMeUp on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to a lot of concerts ranging from hip-hop to metal but I must say I have never been so excited and pumped up at a concert. Having Pennywise opening up for The Offspring was just a head rush. The second The Offspring came on everyone just went wild. I know there will never be another moment in concert history that so many people from so many different age ranges will be under one roof and be so hyped up.
