About

The Offspring are a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California. Led by founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland since 1986, The Offspring have released 11 studio albums and sold over 40 million records globally. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 1989, followed by 1992’s Ignition and 1994’s Smash. Behind breakout Mainstream Rock Airplay singles “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away,” Smash went on to sell over 11 million records, earn six RIAA platinum certifications and set the record for the highest-selling album released by an independent label. Ixnay on the Hombre in 1997 notched The Offspring’s first No. 1 single on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Gone Away,” while 1998’s Americana hit the band’s chart peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 on its way to netting five RIAA platinum certifications and three more Alternative Airplay Top 10 singles: “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)” and “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” The Offspring later topped the Alternative Airplay chart again with “Hit That” from 2003’s Splinter and “You're Gonna Go Far, Kid” from 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. The Offspring logged two more Mainstream Rock Airplay chart-toppers with “Coming for You” and the title track from 2021’s Let the Bad Times Roll. In 2024, The Offspring released their 12th album Supercharged

  • Offspring rocked the Amphitheatre

    by baker012 on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great show with all the great songs being played, they didn't miss a beat and put on a fantastic show. Pennywise really pumped up the crowd in the preshow and not being a fan before the concert I am now a Pennywise fan.

A great show at the Amphitheater with floors. They played all the big hits. Fans could not ask for a better set list.

  • Offspring blew up the Amp!!

The Offspring show was wicked, 10 times better than when I saw them a few years ago. Dexter really knew how to get the crowd excited and it was amazing hearing everyone echoing the words for songs such as "Gone Away" and "Self Esteem" Jam packed venue and everyone looked very excited to be there including myself! Fantastic show and can't wait til they come back and do it all over again :)

  • Offspring can still kick it!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Good mix of songs from the early days to the new album, they rocked the stage hard. The crowd was really into it too. Well worth the cost of tickets!

Great show, especially for big fans! They do a great job live, and they didn't just play their latest albums, the show included the best music from their entire library. Two thumbs up.

  • Offspring was F'ing AMAZING!

    by Lady4880 on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

My favorite part of the show was when Dexter came out and preformed Gone Away on the piano. Absoloutley amazing. The entire set was an even mix from all albums, how could you ask for anything more. They accomodated the oldschool fans to the newbies, which was nice to see. I left the show stlll PUMPED and wanting more!! Cannot WAIT for them to come back. Good on ya Offspring!!

  • Offspring still rocks!

    by NickyNoodles19 on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Offspring put on an awesome show. After all these years and they can still rock out like old. It was a great concert with a great set list. From old classics like "Come Out And Play, Gotta Get Away," and the surprize playing of "Meaning of Life." God I love that song. To the newer hits like "Your Gonna Go Far Kid, Hammer Head, and Christie." The on stage chemistry of Dexter and Noodles was brilliant and provide great crowd interaction all night long. Glad to see these old school rockers still rocken out hard. Good job boys, keep up the good work and can't wait to see you guys again.

  • Offspring could have done better

by Escapist on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Either Dexter is getting old and tired or he just doesn't have the heart to perform well for his fans... sorry to say it but he disappointed me tremendously. I felt like I was at an amateur show.... Americana was the very first rock album I ever bought so I was really looking forward to this show and was let down from the very beginning... the intro sucked! All they did was walk on stage and start playing, with very little energy to top it off. Best part of the show was the nostalgia of hearing the songs I grew up on, but I don't think it's a good thing that the most amusing thing Dexter did was play the Charlie Brown theme on piano. Booo Offspring =(

  • Great show!!

  • The OFFSPRING ROCKED!!!!!!!

by Holreo on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

On July 2, 2009 a friend and myself had the pleasure of attending The Offspring concert at the Molson Amphitheatre which was actually a much better venue then I expected. Pennywise opened for them at the show, and other then realizing how old I have gotten since I rocked out to these guys in grade 7 they also put on an amazing show. I would see these guys anytime they were great!!!

  • Offspring are too amazing!!!

    by xtina88 on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This my my first offspring show, and 4th concert ive ever been too. I must say it was also the best!! Their music is so fricken good.... i was jumping and singing the whole time. It was wicked and i hope they come back to the area again sometime so i can wear my kick as offspring shirt from that concert!! <3 u guys

  • Epic!

by Squeeky on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The atmosphere of the show was amazing even before it started. Once the lights went off, and they began to play, the fans responded. The lighting, the stage set-up, and especially the sound was dead on. It's amazing that he still has the voice to hit those high notes.

  • Offspring at the Amp

by MarvinCobain on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It took me a while to get out and see The Offspring, partly becaue I don't think they had been to Toronto in a long time, but when I did I was not disapointed. The Offsprings set exceeded expectations. They played everything you wanted to hear.
