About

The Offspring are a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California. Led by founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland since 1986, The Offspring have released 11 studio albums and sold over 40 million records globally. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 1989, followed by 1992’s Ignition and 1994’s Smash. Behind breakout Mainstream Rock Airplay singles “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away,” Smash went on to sell over 11 million records, earn six RIAA platinum certifications and set the record for the highest-selling album released by an independent label. Ixnay on the Hombre in 1997 notched The Offspring’s first No. 1 single on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Gone Away,” while 1998’s Americana hit the band’s chart peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 on its way to netting five RIAA platinum certifications and three more Alternative Airplay Top 10 singles: “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)” and “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” The Offspring later topped the Alternative Airplay chart again with “Hit That” from 2003’s Splinter and “You're Gonna Go Far, Kid” from 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. The Offspring logged two more Mainstream Rock Airplay chart-toppers with “Coming for You” and the title track from 2021’s Let the Bad Times Roll. In 2024, The Offspring released their 12th album Supercharged

    by Branden798 on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Such an amazing band live, Dexter sings just like the cd's, great set list, good combination of singles and other songs.

  • Offspring was a highlight of a lifetime!

    by Jocie77 on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing. From the moment the first opening act stepped on the stage to the final song the entire show was filled with energy, humour, and fantastic music. Offspring was able to give their fans exactly what they wanted; the hits. Not only did they play all the classic offspring we all love they let the fans decide one song to play. The entire night was spent on my feet jumping around and dancing like crazy. It was unbelievable. All in all the best concert I have ever been too!

  • Offspring was amazing!!

Great show. Good live. Interacted with the crowd. Would for sure see another show if they came back to toronto. One of the best shows I have been too.

  • Offspring still rocks!

by MrFrinkles on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Great concert - most of the older hits were played as well as the new ones!

  • amazing

by ConstableJenkins on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

really the only flaw was the openers, Frank Turner was good, seems like a nice guy, and it took balls to stand up there and just sing with an acoustic guitar, however I am not a Pennywise fan, so having to sit through them wasn't a highlight for me However the Offspring played an amazing set, every song I wanted to hear I heard, and the fact that they had us vote from a list of 8 songs for them to play was a first for me. Noodles and Dexter were both funny guys on stage and Dexter sounded great, Noodles a little sloppy but hey, it's a concert, as long as he sounds good on the cd's I'm fine with that.

  • Offspring was excellent

    by wx11413 on 2009-07-23UBC THUNDERBIRD ARENA - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Third time seeing The Offspring, best show by far. No more keyboards and a third guitarist in the shadows made the sound heavier and complete. Dissapointing crowd, partly due to unknowen backup bands and the venue all the way at UBC don't help either.

  • Pretty Fly

by Kayy on 2009-07-22Northlands AgriCom - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Even considering that they played at the Agricom rather than Rexall, and even considering I'm 5'"6 and everyone in front of me was 6"7, this show was amazing. They played every song you could have hoped for, and the sound guy did an amazing job of making them come through incredibly clear. And if you're into moshing, this surprisingly ranks among the heavy metal and more aggressive punk shows. They did an amazing job.

  • The Offspring were Awesome!

    by Krash23 on 2009-07-22Stampede Corral - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

High energy concert that rocked the building! Street Dogs opened the show and were great as well.

  • The Offspring

    by TRU1134 on 2009-07-22UBC THUNDERBIRD ARENA - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

The Offspring rocked from start to finish. From new songs to old the crowd was loving it. The atmosphere was very energetic. They can surely keep you on your feet and having a good time. I will be going back next time they are in town thats for sure.

  • Great show by Offspring!

by Melvyo on 2009-07-21Northlands AgriCom - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

They may be old, but then so am I, but they pulled off a great show!! I would definitely see them again. The venue was well suited to the band, and we had a fantastic time!

  • Even better live than expected!

by EdmontonRob on 2009-07-21Northlands AgriCom - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Street Dogs were awesome, gotta get that album. I hadn't really heard of them but great music and a better show. The Offspring are my favorite band and I appreciate them even more now. They played an amazing show and the piano solo in the middle was fantastic. I would definitely go see them again!

  • The Offspring rocks!

    by Linds14 on 2009-07-20Northlands AgriCom - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

The Offspring proved to give an amazing show with clear vocals, excellent guitar and percussions, and a variety of songs, both old and new. They were interactive with the audience and quite comical. They worked the stage. This concert was excellent!

  • Offspring A Bit Off

by Pebblesssss on 2009-07-20Northlands AgriCom - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

This concert was fun, but I was disappointed how little Offspring actually played, which was about 45 minutes. I was looking forward to hearing more from them and their music.

  • Still coming out swinging!

by ChevyGirl on 2009-07-20MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

I was extremely impressed with The Offspring. I had been waiting years for the chance to see them perform live. Seeing as how my seats were on the floor I didn't see as much as I would have liked to. I did hear that it was a very plain show, with the basic light shows in the background. Which in my opinion is not needed for The Offspring. Dexter may be getting up there in age but his voice is still absolutely perfect. I was amazed by his vocals, no matter what anyone says he can still belt a tune with the best of them, if not better!

  • Offspring was fun

    by GT35 on 2009-07-20Stampede Corral - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was great. The smaller venue helped keep the energy level up!

  • The Offspring rocked it !!

by CapN on 2009-07-20Northlands AgriCom - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

The Offspring brought their A game to the Agricom. Excellent show at an excellent venue!

This was an awesome concert. I was really excited to see these guys and was not disappointed. The energy of the crowd was great, I didn't sit down once!
