About

The Offspring are a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California. Led by founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland since 1986, The Offspring have released 11 studio albums and sold over 40 million records globally. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 1989, followed by 1992’s Ignition and 1994’s Smash. Behind breakout Mainstream Rock Airplay singles “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away,” Smash went on to sell over 11 million records, earn six RIAA platinum certifications and set the record for the highest-selling album released by an independent label. Ixnay on the Hombre in 1997 notched The Offspring’s first No. 1 single on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Gone Away,” while 1998’s Americana hit the band’s chart peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 on its way to netting five RIAA platinum certifications and three more Alternative Airplay Top 10 singles: “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)” and “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” The Offspring later topped the Alternative Airplay chart again with “Hit That” from 2003’s Splinter and “You're Gonna Go Far, Kid” from 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. The Offspring logged two more Mainstream Rock Airplay chart-toppers with “Coming for You” and the title track from 2021’s Let the Bad Times Roll. In 2024, The Offspring released their 12th album Supercharged

The concert was amazing! Best concert I have ever been to. Looking forward to their return.

  • Good show, low tech

    by J111 on 2009-07-15MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Most of the songs that you know from the radio, especially the early 90s were performed and done well. Openers were good too, only real complaint would be the tech/entertainment aspect. Low resolution screens at the back with basic graphics, no screen to zoom in on the bands for people further away. Other than strobes and laser lights nothing much in the effects department. Good show, but go for the music.

had a great time, wished it could have lasted longer

  • The Offspring show was not long enough.

by bstumborg on 2009-07-15Northlands AgriCom - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was great but they were only on the stage for 1hr30min. So I had to listen to my wife say that the Back Street Boys play for a min 2hrs. They played all their best hits which was great but there was sooo much more they could have played. Their excuse was that they had a after party to go to that everyone can try to attend. Overall it was great!! I will go again! The Offspring Rocks!

One of the absolute BEST shows I have ever been too. Great crowd interaction and they played every one of my favorite songs, and there were many. I absolutely recommend them and would go see this tour again without a doubt.

  • Offspring concert- WICKED!!!!!!!

by Freshka on 2009-07-15Northlands AgriCom - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

We ended up getting last minute tickets to this sold out show at the agricom. I couldn't understand why they weren't at Rexall Place, but WOW was it ever awesome in the smaller venue. They played the perfect blend of their old stuff with just enough of their new album and included a comical "intermission" with beach balls, pogo sticks, jugglers and randomness! The randomness included various stage crew clowning around and it gave the concert a more intimate and interactive feel. The encore was awesome, and it was on of the few concerts where I wasn't thinking of my poor choice of foot wear at the end.

  • Amazing!!!!

by Annihilate on 2009-07-15MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Show incuded 3 bands. They were, Street Dogs (irish style punk rock), Shiny Toy Guns (electronica/rock band), and of course the classic punk rock band The Offspring. All groups were very impressive, especially The Offspring who put on an amazing show!

  • Offspring was a Amazing

    by damdj95 on 2009-07-15Stampede Corral - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The offspring concert was amazing. I didn't catch the first two acts, but shiny toy guns put on a good show. Everything about offspring, from when they came out on stage belting out there oldtime hits, with some new stuff was great. I thought the coolest part of the show was, when they brought a piano out for Dexter to play. If they where to come back anytime from now I would so go and see them again.

  • Taking the front seat!

by Lindzer on 2009-07-15MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

As I first entered the area to see The Offspring I was thinking about all the great songs that I could possibly hear that evening. I was very excited to hear some of my favorites from over the years but what I didn't expect was a show that changed the way I listened to those songs. Afterwards, listening to the songs just isn't the same, because I keep thinking to myself now that I would rather watch a live Offspring show than listen to an album. I don't say that about all the bands I see (and I see a lot of shows). It is so worth seeing and I would recommend this show to anyone thinking they might like to see them but just don't know if they want to spend the money. IT IS SOOOO WORTH IT!

  • Offspring were unbelievable

    by Dunga19 on 2009-07-15Stampede Corral - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

This concert is by far one of the top 3 my wife and I have ever attended. The songs played by Offspring raced through there catalogue of CD's covering all of the hit songs that this band has created in the last 20+ years. The opening band Street Dogs were full of spunk and energy and really put tons of emotion into the crowd. Shiny Toy Guns while having quite an array of hits themselves seemed a bit out of place at a punk show. This really showed with there set as they seemed to suck most of the energy out of the Corral that the Street Dogs had built up. Offspring rules!!!

  • OFFSPRING

by Skerj on 2009-07-15Northlands AgriCom - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

This was one of the best shows that i have been to in a LONG time. They played with a lot of energy and the crowd responded with the same amount as what they were outting out. If you get the chance go to an offspring show.

  • Entertaining

by Cheezpuff on 2009-07-15Northlands AgriCom - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Offspring puts on a very fun up beat show. I would recommend it to any fan. The only downside was that it was a bit on the short side.
