The band sounded great but it wasn’t much of a show. It felt more like watching a cover band at a pub.
Great music, played all the big hits and then some. Lots of great energy on the stage and the drummer was amazing! Would go again!
I would not call this a tribute band. More like a cover band. The lead singer had a very strong accent which made it hard to enjoy. The drummer was wayy more suited to singing their songs.
At first I wasn’t sure about the lead singer “Freddie” but he definitely got better as the show progressed However, the musicians were excellent, especially percussion. He was also an amazing singer. Lead guitar was also brilliant.
Not a tribute act and the lead singer did not sound like Freddie at all.
The musicians were fantastic. BUT, OMG the vocalist was terrible. Pitchy and sang way to fast. The best songs were when the drummer sang. The crowd were unmotivated at best. We left when he destroyed Bohemian Rhapsody.
I have seen Queen Extravaganza twice now and will go again next time they are in town. Loved the energy of the crowd.
Well done job at saluting one of the best rock and roll bands ever. Timeless classics were well done and a great mix of many Queen songs. Excellent job of recreating the opera section of Bo Rap. Skilled musicians with great voices. It was a great show. An excellent tribute band!
Just saw the Queen Extravaganza show in Hamilton last Saturday. Fantastic group of musicians! They could all sing, provided great backup and totally filled out the sound. Brian absolutely rocked it - could close your eyes and think it was Brian May. And, the drummer may just have been the hidden gem. The entire show seemed to get better as the night went on. Hats off to a great tribute band and as close as you'll come to the real deal!
The show was fantastic. The singer had an amazing voice, the talent was there. I am glad we went. Had a great time.
Me and my wife drove eight hr five hundred miles each way and fuel cost to see how we that was Marc Martel in queen extravaganza as when you googled this the is the lead singer for the band we were very excited as he sounds so much like Freddy then when the show started there was a nother singer with the band the other members were right just not the lead singer.Allthow the new singer was good I would not have made this trip to see him.I think ticket master should refund me my $210.00 for three tickets back as I purchased hundred of tickets over the years
The frontman did his job and the drummer was great, but I found all the other musicians mechanical and lacking any enthusiasm. The bass player didn’t even move until the second half, and great guitar solos were presented like just another day at the office. So, while you may be able to play/sing/hit the right notes, it was rather lack lustre overall. Also, when you are singing these greats, timing is important and many subtle moments were lost because of artistic interpretation. Always great to hear music live, but...meh.
The music is great, but the set & delivery was not professional enough. Drummer was a much better singer. Overall, just average, okay for a casino but not a big theatre.
i went with my family to see this show and we all enjoyed it very much!!!
Would go again in a second didnt want it to end unbelievably entertaining
Great show, but they got us there at 7 for a show that started at 8 pm, very frustrating! the band played from 8-8:45 and took a 1/2 hour break......then played again....my kids weren't too thrilled with waiting and neither was I
Great show! Awesome vocals... band was pretty on point to "Queen" sang the well known hits and some. The lead singer had a wide range in his voice just like Freddy Mercury. Was a great show would definitely recommend going and would see them again if they return.
The show was good but wasn't great or amazing to me. Maybe I was expecting too much. The drummer has an amazing voice and the bassist does an awesome job on the David Bowie portion of under pressure. It was a good concert but nothing flashy and I don't think it was worth the amount of money we spent, but we did enjoy ourselves.
The evening was amazing. The song choices matched the description of the promo. It lived up to the hype. It was wonderful to see most of the band work so hard to bring the core of Queen to life. I thought the simple set; the quality of the sound; the banter by the lead were all spot on. Love, love , love the lead guitarist, keyboardist and drummer. Amazing! And the frontman was perfect. Great evening
Show was amazing.Lihgt, souns . and everything was beutiful.
