  • Loved the show but.....

    Loved the show, but the venue was horrible. The Grey Eagle Casino is not and event center. Felt like I was in a school Gymnasium with chairs set up. This was a gift to my elderly parents, it was not a good experience. Not enough handicapped parking, had to park a distance away in the mud. Smoke from the casino was thick!!! Accessability was a huge issue, limited seating in holding area, low toilets in the handicapped bathroom. This event should have been at the Jubilee or Arts commons. I did see in other cities the venues were much better. It was also very loud before and at intermission. I was extremely dissapointed. But again the show was fantastic

    This show was everything I was hoping for. The sounds of Paul and Art were spot on, plus humor, interesting facts and cultural references.

  • Less instrumental Solos

    The concert was fabulous. The singers did a really great job at performing the songs of Simon and Garfunkel. There were two aspects of the show that I didn’t feel were necessary. The instrumental solos from all 4 members of the band. Reserve this for rock concerts. Also there was a point in the show where the lights all went out and there was talking. This was confusing and didn’t seem to be relevant to the show. I think this could be eliminated. Otherwise great show

    Started real slow and boring. Some of their video show made no sense to us. Maybe 5 songs were enjoyable at the end

    Loved the show! Music sounded so authentic and we loved the stories that were told through the performance. Learned some things we didn't know about S&G. A very talented duo! Would see them again!

    Great show. Singers were very good and emulated Simon and Garfunkel perfectly. Except please reduce the volume on the music. It was very hard to hear the vocals clearly. I watched the Simon and Garfunkel concert in Central Park and you could hear the vocals very clearly. I also went to the Elton John concert in Rogers place, same thing. So why do you always have to have the instrumentals up so loud they drowned out the vocals?

    Loved the format of the storytelling and the information as well as the songs! Both the singers and the band look to be having so much fun and the singers voices were amazing! It just felt like there was too many unknown songs played! And maybe not all of the greatest hits! Great show!!

    The show was great. The gentleman that played Paul Simon did a very good job. The gentleman that did Art Garfunkle must have been cloned from Art himself. With no apparrent effort he did a flawless presentation. When he sang Bridge Over Troubled Waters it sent shivers up my spine. He got a standing ovetion before he even finished the song.

    The sound was not great.....as usual. Paul Simon's voice....so so but when the two harmonized it was good. The band behind the was awsome!

    I was sitting in the first balcony. There was a lady sitting in row F seat 139. There was a sign advising patrons not to use flash photography or to video record the performance. She decided to ignore it and instead, spend time on her cell phone texting and recording the performance, then watching the show.

    The music was terrific and we really enjoyed watching the band. Seeing them have fun added to the performance. Well done. The two main performers were okay and perhaps with more practice they will further improve. Art Garfunkel lyrics are not easy to sing and though there was effort, it didn’t match the expectation. Though I suspect the performer was mimicking Arts hands in pockets style, he came across as somewhat bored and detached from the performance. I wanted this to be better than it was, and felt it was a traveling band class of show as opposed to a professional performance. The graphics were excellent, however some of the performers dialogue came off as somewhat cheesy. The sound quality was not good and at the Jubilee this is not typically an issue. 3 stars, one especially for the guitar players and one for effort.

    I enjoyed the performance but have to say the back up band played over the singers most of the show when they were involved. Could hardly hear the vocals. Great vocals when only using the acoustic guitar.

    Chose to purchase tickets in December as gift. It mentioned no elevator access at that time. I checked prior to show and again, no access. I am disabled and can not do stairs. We chose to refund tickets . Not possible. Thought we had sold them but they were unable to attend. Tucker’s we’re not use due to inaccessibility.

    The Simon and Garfunkel story was a fantastic journey through the music and lives of an iconic group in music history. The whole experience had us singing along, clapping our hands and saying how good the performance was to everyone around us.

    It was so good! I'd definitely go see it again. Well worth it for sure. The bass,and electric guitar guys were fun to watch. They really looked like they enjoyed themselves, they really felt the music. The drummer and keyboardist were also very good. Also beautiful harmony. Can't say enough good things. Very well done and so much fun.

    We have been privileged to attend concerts by Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble, Barbara Streisand, Carrie Underwood and every type of music in between and this performance was rates right up there with the best of them. From the story telling, the excellent musicians, to the singing stars portraying Art and Garfunkel the entire concert was on point. The best part of it was the sound was perfect for both the band and the singers. No earplugs needed! Such a listening pleasure. It’s nice to see a show of this calibre stopping in Thunder Bay. Thank you

    I went into the show expecting just to hear the S&G songs. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the S&G story narrated by the two performers, audio and video related to the relevant times of the songs and the performer's rendition of the S&G songs, which was amazing. The performers not only sang the S&G songs close to the originals we have heard on vinyl and other forms, but they sublimely acted out mannerisms that Art and Paul have. The supporting band was excellent. I encourage you to see this show. It will render up old memories and allow you to appreciate how real songwriting and performances should be.
