About

British Rock band, The Struts--named from an offhand comment about their unbridled stage presence-- have earned a global reputation as a must-see live act. The band, comprised of lead vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies, was formed in Derby England in 2012. Bursting onto the scene with "Could Have Been Me", they have since released three albums (including collaborations with heavy hitters like Robbie Williams, Kesha, Tom Morello, and Def Leppard's Joe Elliott and Phil Collen), earned the No. 1 spot on the Spotify Viral Top 50, appeared on shows like  The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, garnered more than 850M on-demand streams and sold out shows across the globe. Praised for their onstage swagger and musicianship, they have opened for The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters and Guns N' Roses, played major festivals like Lollapalooza and Governors Ball as well as headlined their own world-wide tours. Now signed to Big Machine Label Group, the mesmerizing rockers have released their new anthem-rocker single, "Fallin' With Me."

    So much fun!

by Nancy on 2023-11-30Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

First off, opener Mac Saturn’s funky style was a big hit. The Struts came on and brought a ton of energy and the crowd loved them. It was a stellar performance!

    The Struts

by Les on 2023-11-30Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Absolutely fantastic performance. High energy, showmanship, musicianship. Band had the audience in the palm of their hands. People were losing their minds… young and old… dancing, jumping, singing, clapping, screaming. It was really dynamic and exciting. These guys should be filling huge stadiums worldwide!!!! Best band to come along in ages!!!!!

    Excellent!

by Sherri on 2023-11-30Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

I’ve been going to shows at the Commodore for decades & The Struts were one of thr brest shows I’ve seen there. They had the ballroom floor crowd bouncing with their excellent music & their great singer Luke Spiller had the crowd in the palm of his hands. Will definitely be going to see them again when they return. You should see them, you will not be disappointed! Opening act Mac Saturn was also really good. Overall just a great night out at a favourite venue.

    Amazing!

by Jeremy on 2023-11-30Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Bought the meet and greet package, great bunch of guys, humble and genuine. Mac Saturn started the show with an awesome, funky set that was full of energy and fantastic musicianship. The Struts took the stage and immediately had the crowd in the palm of their hands. The crowd was absolutely great, very enthusiastic and into the show. I had the best time and really felt the desire from both bands to leave it all on the stage. Do not miss these bands!!!!!

    Pure Rockstars!

by Commodore on 2023-11-30Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

True rockstars! Should be selling out arena shows by now. Such great performers who really know how to work a venue. Seeing them at the Commodore was like catching one of the great bands before they make it big.

by SteveO on 2023-11-30Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

We just loved this show at the Commodore - great venue and crowd as well The struts came out and were fantastic from start to end - so much energy and fun - lead singer Luke Spiller is one of the best front men out there - fun, smiley, energetic, great singer, engaging with the crowd, charismatic - just so so good. My first time seeing the band and can't wait to see them again The opening band Mac Saturn we're also amazing - their lead singer is also a great front man and has some Mick Jagger swagger. Would love to see this band again as well

    Bedazzled

by Cris on 2019-09-22MTELUS - Montreal

The Struts! Flamboyant Luke Spiller. A true performer. Nonchalant Adam (adorable), quirky Gethin and cool Jed. I saw the Struts in 2015 and again a few days ago and I will see them again for sure when they come back to Montreal. This is a great, unique band who diffuse so much positive, radiant energy on stage. Just awesome. Five stars all the way.

    Bangin'

by Barfly999 on 2019-09-16The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

There are only so many bands/performers that can make people dance to their tune! I found out that The Struts is one one of those bands. Everyone jumped, raised their hands, clapped and sang when the band asked them too. I would pay big money to see them again💃🙌

    Struts round 2

by Henry on 2019-09-14The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Preface, 3STAR for VENUE not the Struts. I love the struts, recent fanboy/man and Wed was able to briefly meet Luke while he was taking a break pre-show by his bus as I was entering the venue. I've never been to the DMH but the sound was terrible. Thought it was me, but general consensus with our friends/family was just overall bad audio. The instruments drowned out any audible vocals. I recognized their audio tech, so he knows what he's doing. JJ Wildes performance was energetic but could not make out any of her vocals either, shame. Last year at the Opera House, it was fantastic, as was the audio at the Dome when they opened for the FF. Case of bad house system?
