THE TEMPER TRAP IN CONCERT:

Indie darlings the Temper Trap quickly shot to fame in 2008 with their anthemic track "Sweet Disposition", and they haven't slowed down since. The Australian group plays bright, guitar-driven rock with a fervor and energy that always get the crowd pumped up during their live shows. Whether they're performing the track that launched their career or tearing through songs from their 2012 self-titled debut, the Temper Trap always has ticket buyers singing and clapping along on their must-see tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Hailing from Down Under, the Temper Trap formed in 2005 when the band members met while working at a Melbourne clothing store. The five-piece played cut their teeth playing local shows, and they quickly attracted attention from blogs and magazines with their electrifying performances. They released their first self-titled EP in 2006 but truly took off in 2008 with their platinum-selling debut Conditions, which featured the Top 20 hit "Sweet Disposition". They continued their mainstream success with their self-titled sophomore LP, which topped the charts in Australia and earned Best Rock Album at the 2012 ARIA Awards. Since then they've opened for major players like Coldplay and the Rolling Stones, appeared at world-renowned festivals like Coachella and Reading and Leeds, and sold out popular venues across the globe. With a strong collection of hits in their repertoire, the Temper Trap is a celebrated act that keeps fans coming out in droves to their exciting shows.

Temper trap was fantastic. Opening band named Elizabeth was disappointing. Temper trap should get a better supporting act.

Temper Trap is sooo amazing live!!

Temper Trap, wow, they are such an amazing band. It's a very rare experience to watch a band that sounds like they do on their cd, but even better. The lead singer is so crisp and unique, he's steals the stage! The band is so in-sync with each other it's shocking! They're constantly playing, jamming between songs leading into the next! I would highly recommend anyone who has a chance for them to come to their town, go see them you will not be disappointed! I know I wasn't. xox

One of the best concerts at such a great small venue (commodore in Vanc). I would definitely go see them- they sound better Live than they do on their CD and they are very cool down to earth musicians. 5 stars...

they blew up the stage. they were too big for the stage. they need a venue like Massy Hall. The sound wasn't right but Temper Trap worked through it. all in all - explosive!

Great intimate venue for an entertaining band. The unique vocals and talent in the band to back them up if a pleasure to listen to. Awesome energy and great songs.
