The Temptations Tickets

I was so pleased with this show. I have never seen the Temptations in concert before, despite being a fan. My interest peaked last year after I visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland (where I bought the Temptations Gold compilation CD) and then again when I visited the Motown Studios in Detroit. When this show was announced we just had to attend. And it was more than worth it. One of the members is an original member of the group - and I made a point of shaking his hand at the end of the show. All in all this music is uplifting and the sentiments in the songs are so real!!! It was truly a soulful experience.

The Tempations performed alot of old favorites and some newer songs as well. Their performance was flawless, they were as good if not better than earlier in their career. They were having a great time and this flowed over into the audience. It was great to see them shake hands with and provide some autographs at the end of the show. When are they coming back, both my husband and I would go back to see them again. Thank you.

The Temptations were incredible. They sang all their hits and sounded just like the original versions from years ago. I loved all the dancing they did too. I was lucky to be seated in the third row on the floor section in front of the stage!!!! One of the guys winked at me LOL because I was doing the same arm movements as they were. He looked right at me when he winked! They get everyone up and dancing! It was really fun. At the end of the concert they stuck around on stage for a bit to shake hands with the people. I thought that was nice of them to do that. So I got to shake hands and tell them I enjoyed the show.

Fantastic show - they performed all their hits and more. Really look like they enjoy performing to the audience.

Wow what a night, for such an incredible group....Otis needs to be commended for all his hard work and still so fantastic after 50 years.....WHERE will they be for this great celebration..

What can I say, except that we thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was something More than I expected. I will make a point of seeing them again, if this becomes a routine... Best evening of entertainment in such a long time.

Need more entertainment in Calgary. As a Native Calgary, and Lady of Color, with entertainment this fantastic , it would definietly pack your establishment, as well as anyone who enjoyed last night as much as myself. Definate Recommended.

The 5th voice was missed but certainly under the circumstances was forgiveable. The audience was fairly comatose, and it took a lot to get them on their feet and moving! I guess a lot of fans of Motown aren't so young anymore, but still!!!

It was a good show, but they barely played an hour and thought that it was a little pricey for just barely an hour if they even did the full as they didn't start till 8:10. Least we got an early night out of it....

This concert was good but very short it ...it started at 815 and ended about 915. I have been to previous reviews in vegas and they were at least 2 hour.

It was really super, only disappointment was that it only lasted 1 hour.

show was good. music was too loud and you could not hear the singers sometimes. show was not long enough Bruce springsteen does 3 hours for the same $$$

for the cost of the tickets, and travelling most of the day to attend, we where very dissapointed in the show...the venue is nice(i have attended other shows there before)...the temptations , for the most part, were hard to understand as the sound was terrible.....the show ran for, including glad handing and introductions , i hour and fifteen minutes, and i am being generous as to that......poor poor poor

Even though they were one Temption short due to a death in the family the remaining 4 put on a nostalgic show. We did however find that the band was a little louder than necessary, drowning out the songs a little. Overall very enjoyable.

The energy was awesome - it seemed like 20 minutes not 1 1/2 hours - could have listened and watched all night!!!!

I have waited 20 years for them to come to a place where I could see them. It was outstanding

Great show, great energy - just not long enough. Only played just over an hour!!! Back in the 60's in Detroit, we would have torn the place apart. Not used to this new short set!!!

I'm sorry I bothered going. Either the acoustics in the Theater are always terrible or the Temptations were unable to scream loud enough to be heard over their band. Bad enough they went ahead with only four of the five Temptations but I feel used by a one hour concert, without an encore. For what its worth this concert did not tempt me to buy their upcoming CD nor did it leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling about the theater - $8 for a cooler, come one.

I love the Temptations, Some of my favorite music of all time. Great lyrics, beautiful harmonies, balanced and wonderful clear sound. This concert was disconnected from the Temptations music I listen to on my CD's. It was simply the worst concert I have been at in years. The reason was the awful sound. The concert was like listening to music through a 1960's car's AM radio set on max volume. Distorted sound, voices that sounded like they came through a Kleenex box and the band was way too loud with heavy base drowning out the harmonies. I see from reviews of their tour dates elsewhere that bad sound is a common issue on their tour. Too bad, a great group that has produced wonderful music but I did not hear any of that at this concert. Very disappointing, I want my money back!
