The Temptations Tickets

I found this show very disappointing. In fact I would rate it as one of the worst shows that I have seen. The music was way too loud and overpowered the singers. The main singer screeched out his songs and the words were hard to follow from all the singers. They came out late at 8:15pm and the show was over by 9:20pm and no encores. Most of the show was holding hands with the people who stood and danced just in front of the stage or having solos by the musicians. The choreography was mediocre as the main singer was overweight and looked like he was a heart attack waiting to happen. They wore black & white shiny striped suits that were not flattering. They looked like they just got out of jail and came to the theater. There were only 4 singers instead of 5 as one had a family situation and did not come. They should have canceled the show or replaced him.

Lead singer bit over bearing, too much "screaming". He had good energy, but a bit over the top. I remember Temptations "smooth" sound. Terry had that sweet, pure voice that is the Temptations sound. Liked the accapella. Did most of big hits, but only on stage for 1 hr 10 mins and no encore!!

An amazing show. Would have been even better if the people next to us had not used their cell phones to video it- despite requests to stop doing so.

We have been Temptations fans right from day one and have seen them many times. We were disappointed with the show at the River Rock Casino in Richmond on October 16, 2009. Our disappointment was with the short duration of the show, a mere one hour and 10 minutes. Admittedly Otis explained that they were short one of them members due to a death in his family and a need for him to return home. The ticket prices were expensive and we did not get good value at this performance. If a short show is going to be standard Temptations fare, they are truly "Coaster-ing" along on their reputation. We will have to think twice about attending a Temptation's concert the next time they are in town. Respectfully submitted.

The show was pretty good, the guys sang and performed very well, but it was only 1hr 20 min long. For $90 it could have been a little longer. Also, there was only 4 Temps as one had to rush home for a death in the family, perhaps they had to cut out songs. There is only one original, Otis, but he still has it! So if you are a big fan like me, it's a must.

The show was good, however short. They were on stage for a total of 1 hour. No intermission, no outfit change...We enjoyed the show, however it could have been a bit longer.

Was it just me.....I was expecting more than an hour...Even without a fifth Temptation, the music was fun, moving, and everything I had wanted except...WAY TOOOOOOO SHORT..

The music, especially the drums, was too loud and drowned out the singing. We couldn't hear the lyrics of most of the songs. At times the singers were shouting and they lost their melody. We left with our ears popping.

I thought the venue was great, we had great seats, were able to see everything! The Temptations didn't disappoint! Truly amazing concert. The length of the concert was a little short, I thought.

The Temptations were awesome with all the wonderful showmanship of years ago. Would recommend seeing them to anyone just wish it was longer than one hour!!
