The Tragically Hip Tickets

I went to the Friday night show of a 6-night series at Massey Hall. The show was awesome! The crowd was totally pumped and Gord and the guys delivered ... in spades!!! I think Gord Downey went through 30 handkerchiefs, which after some playing with them and wiping his face, became souvenirs for some fans on the floor. His theatrics were at times eccentric, but no one seemed to mind. The band are fantastic, and the unplugged segment was truly worth the price of admission. My only regret is that i did not go to the final show, as Alex Lifeson made a surprise appearance (well, surprise to the fans ... not sure about the band) and played guitar for 2 songs. Now THAT would have been truly memorable! Thanks to the band for an awesome night.

Absolutely the best HIP concert I have been to; and I have been to a lot!!! The entire atmosphere was electric and just when you think there was going to be a lull, Gordie, Paul, Johnny and Rob just kept on coming!!! A night I will remember for a long, long time... Thanks guys for putting on such a great show!

Awesome concert, at an awesome venue, the boys were at their best!

The 6 shows that the hip performed in Toronto were good. Myself, having gone to all six, thought that by the last couple of shows things started to get repetitive, but I guess that's to be expected when you're seeing multiple, back-to-back nights of the hip. Overall a great experience, given that I grew up listening to these guys.

I went May 15 and 16, and as usual, the 'Hip were full of energy, adrenaline and great tunes. Massey Hall is the best venue to see them in....any seat is a very viewable seat.
