Canada’s best band! I will see The Trews till the end of time. Best shows ever. Their sound and heart in every concert is just mind blowing.
The Trews were excellent to see in concert! It was my first time seeing them, and although I've heard all their radio hits, I never really thought about how many they actually have. The sound was great too. The Lazys were actually the band I really wanted to see as I have an obsession with their high energy hard rock, but the Trews rocked the house! My only complaint, which was a big one, was that in the last few years I've been to concerts at small venues, if the ticket or advertising said doors open at xxx pm, the bands came on a half hour later. Luckily it was nice weather, as it said doors open at 7 and I arrived at 7:20, only to stand outside with about 200 people for almost 40 minutes! Then, we get inside and The Lazys didn't come on until about 9:10PM! This was over 1.5 extra hours of standing! Good technique for the bar to sell more alcohol, but not fair to the patrons! And for the amount of people there, there were only a couple of bartenders on staff, with one bar only having one server! Again, even with these complaints, it was still a great concert!
The Trews put on an outstanding performance (as they always do)! Great show.
Doors were to open at 7pm but didn't until 7:30pm. Show was to start at 8pm but the Lazy's didn't take stage until 8:30pm. The Trews didn't start until 11:00ish. It was a lot of standing, a lot of waiting, however, The Trews made up for it with another stellar performance. Can't wait to see them again in February.
The trews were amazing as they always are. Put on a great show. The Lazys were the opening band, they were good too, just a little heavy fir my liking. Hard to believe the trews have been playing for 21 years, we have followed them for all of them and they just keep getting better.
The opening act was Bleeker and they were great. Howard Mandshein from 92.1 Citi FM got the crowd fired up introducing the Trews. The Trews came out and played an amazing show all the way through. I would have given 5 Stars if they had played my favorite song, What's Fair is Fair. I was expecting it to be the encore song but when they exited stage the show was undoubtedly over. Please add What's Fair is Fair to the end of your set list! It's truly an amazing no nonsense song. Anyway, keep on rocking guys. Cheers.
Opening act was perfect. The Trews were inspiring. The music was great but the sound was a little distorted and not as crisp like the venue usually is.
Saw The Trews in Winnipeg at The Burton Cummings Theatre. The show was amazing! It was rock and roll all the way - all members sounded fantastic. I highly recommend seeing them live.
pretty good show, The Trews are good live, their set could have been a bit longer and was pretty darn loud
Fun night for all. We will go again. Added bonus that it was a fund raiser for RVH.
Great night. The seats were perfect. The sound was just right. Bands played their best songs. I would highly recommend the venue too.
All the hits by both bands. An outstanding show from start to finish.
Both The Trews and 54-40 were awesome!! Although our seats were great and so was the sound, but unfortunately Casino Rama is probably the most Unenjoyable venue to see a concert. There's absolutely no energy in the room and they make it virtually impossible to enjoy the spirit and atmosphere of a concert. I feel bad for the performers. The venue sucks the life out of the crowd EVERY TIME NO MATTER HOW GOID YOUR SEATS ARE!! Great bands nonetheless!!
54-40 was really good, quite enjoyed their performance but the highlight was the Trews, rocked the house and put on an awesome performance, great band, sound was great and a good event.
This was an amazing concert! I have liked 54-40 for a long time but never had a chance to see them in concert. They were amazing! My husband is a huge fan of The Trews so I hear them all the time at home but they aren't exactly my type of band - until this concert! I loved them and knew almost every song they played! Both had a lot of interaction with the audience too. Great night with great bands for a great cause! I would definitely go see both bands again.
I just saw The Trews for the fourth time this year, and they still blew me away. The energy they put into their shows, as well as the audience engagement, and pure musical talent make this a must see band!
great show! the energy was awesome, we danced and "sang our harts out"
The band was incredible as usual. Fantastic. Too bad the acoustics are HORRIBLE at the Flames Central. I also would suggest that they make a dance floor at the front of the band. People jam right up to the front and stand there so no one else but them can see the band. Great band. Poor venue.
Been a big fan for years, and have always considered them one of the best live acts money can buy. This show just puts a BIG exclamation mark on that! Absolutely amazing! If you get the chance, see this tour! Especially if you were a fan of their acoustic album "Friends and Total Strangers".
This was a great show, very up close and personal! Excellent place to watch the trews!!!
