  • The Trews Acoustic w/ special guest Rich Robinson

by donnybebad on 2016-02-23Flames Central - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Overall the show was fantastic - I wish Rich Robinson played some Black Crow songs...The Trews were great as usual BUT the venue, Flames Central, leaves something to be desired. I am not sure why concerts are held here except that it is licensed. We were upstairs with seats (not may seats in the place) and sometimes you couldn't see the band playing unless you stood and went to balcony, which was fine, nobody in the group minded that. You also had a choice to sit and watch the band on three large screens... with the video quality of VHS. I'm serious, it was that bad. Yup, I'm old and I need a seat when I go to a show but come on FC, get your sh*t together. I would of given 5 stars if the venue was better.

  • Finally got to see The Trews!

Amazing performerance! Great night. Can't wait to see them again.

  • Not ready to go!

by CJbass on 2016-02-22Festival Place - Sherwood ParkRating: 4 out of 5

Don't let the 'unplugged' part put you off. The Trews served up a show that was just as raucous as any full-on rock act they've ever done. My only complaint? ...there wasn't enough of it! Even with a brief intermission it seemed very short. As they say, time flies and all that. Not sure about those hipster suits tho....

Massy Hall was made for these guys. Two sets...amazing! started on time was a nice treat as well.

  • The Trews Delivered

by JimTrews on 2014-12-14Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 37th time seeing the band, the continue to be the best live act I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of big name acts over the years. One big downer though was the people next to me talking the ENTIRE concert. If you're reading this and like to talk at concerts, go to the bar, I didn't pay to hear you talk the entire night. I don't care to hear about your mother dying 4 years ago (yes they talked about that during a song).

  • The Trews

by JaneS on 2014-12-14Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was excellent as we knew it would be. It was a clever idea for the The Trews to be their own opening act and do a fantastic acoustic set, then come back for the main event rock set. Almost 2 and half hours of great music and everyone in the crowd was having a great time. Forgot just how amazing these guys are - this is about my 4th or 5th time seeing this band live but no storm was going to keep us from seeing these brilliant musicians play in Massey Hall with its incredible acoustics.

  • Great show.

by Jestilces on 2014-11-24Union Hall - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

I always enjoy a show when the band is interactive with the audience. The Trews were great As I would have thought . I honestly was there to see the glorious sons. And they were awesome! I have worked many shows and it's always a disappointment when the band that you here on the radio sucks live. I have been listening to glorious sons for a while and enjoy the music . So I was plesently surprised to hear them live. Didn't know what to expect ; but whoa good job lil buddies. Band was awesome, vocals were awesome and all over stage presence was great . They are a young band and I hope they continue to keep doing what they are doing . And btw, good job on the chic shirts. No one ever has cute chic shirts !

Great show. Glourious Sons stold the show. Trews are true professionals great Canadian party band

  • The Trews rocked it again!

by nicklesb on 2014-11-24Flames Central - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Once again, The Trews put on am amazing show. Opening bands Open Air and The Glorious Sons were a perfect addition to the show. The Trews sang an amazing mix of old songs and new, including the duet of "In The Morning" with guest Lexi Strate. They had the entire Flames Central on their feet screaming and singing along. The VIP meet and greet before the show was spectacular. The Trews are just as awesome people as they are musicians. I can't wait for them to come back to Calgary.

  • Local opening band stole the show for me!

by Bewlaydude on 2014-11-24Flames Central - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

This was definitely a serious "bang for your buck" show. The Trews were their usual excellent selves live, playing a marathon 3 hour set list, with all the crowd pleasers. Not their regular drummer though? Great support bands too. Glorious Sons were great, but local Calgary band Open Air stole the show for me. They made every one of their 30 minutes count and just killed it with their own brand of hard rock. Plus a very well received cover or the Arctic Moneys "R U Mine". It would be a crime for these boys not to get snapped up and signed with a major label. Flames Central is a great sounding venue too. All bands were crystal clear and just the right volume levels. An evening that exceeded expectations for sure!

  • The Trews and Glorious Sons

by Randalh on 2014-11-23Union Hall - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

high energy and fun! What a blast both bands were, it was clear they were having fun and putting all their energy into the show. near the end of the Trews set the Glorious sons brothers got up and did a couple of mash-ups and it was awesome!

  • Trews Delivered!

by Secretagentsuze on 2014-11-23Union Hall - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

As usual, Trews put on a phenomenonal show. Rocked the stage and the crowd...enjoyed it from the front row. Tears at the very heartfelt version of Highway of Heroes!

  • Loved it

by TrewsFan on 2014-11-13Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to every Trews concert in Winnipeg for the past 7 years and this one was by far the best yet. I loved Colin's new use of falsetto and how the band keeps it real by adding riffs and surprise lyrics. Also, great guitar solo John! Who knew you could use a mic stand to play a guitar!?!

  • The Trews were fantastic

by UncleCanuck on 2014-11-13Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

I thoroughly enjoyed the Trews. They are a great band to see live. The warm up bands we great as well, particularly the Glorious Sons. The sound quality wasn’t the greatest though. But overall it was a good concert.

  • Exceptional Band

As always, the Trews delivered an enjoyable concert. The smaller venue suited their sound.

  • Another Awesome Show by The Trews

by stillstanding14 on 2014-04-30The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This is my 4th time seeing the Trews, they always put on an amazing, rocking show. This show in particular, being their album release party, was probably the best show I've seen them do. I love The Trews and will definitely be seeing them again!

Amazing performance by the Trews and Glorious Sons.

  • The Trews were Ok

by 4GLO on 2014-04-29The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Never heard of this band before, they were okay but not great as I never knew them. Maybe that is why I am also giving them a 3 star
