    Best Who Yet

by Banana Nose on 2019-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

I have seen the Who five times now and this was a pleasant surprise. Could be described as beautiful in both sound with the Orchestra and the visuals complete with dancing violinists in skimpy black dresses. Roger was in great voice and Pete looked like he was really enjoying himself present their music in a different format. Two and a half hours of Tommy, some Who Classics followed by Quadrophenia. Plus a guest appearance by Eddie Veder on one number. I am still buzzing from the show three days ago. Watching Pete's guitar playing is like being in the presence of greatness. What a memory I have of a tremendous concert.

The Who were amazing! They certainly appreciate their fans support and put out there very best effort! Was loud but very clear. Kids and I love LG as well so super cool that The Who invited him to go out with them on tour!!

Awesome concert. Didn’t realize the impact the orchestra would have on the music. Outstanding.

Best concert I have seen in a long time

by Debbe on 2019-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

The music was incredibe. The orchestra really added to the show, but the band played fantastic. Rogers voice was right on. I am so glad I went to this concert, better than I expected. And I really enjoyed Liam Gallagher too.

    The Who

    by S. G. on 2019-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

First time I've had the opportunity to see them. It was a wonderful concert. The boys (Daltry & Townsend) still have it after all these years and definately let us know who they were. The symphony playing with them were brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed the show.

    So Glad I Went

by WolfmanMac on 2019-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

I took my son, so that 20yrs from now sitting around with his friends, there's that chance of casually stating the fact that he saw The Who before they died and getting back "WOW! Really?!?' from his friends. I had never seen them myself, and I gotta say that between the singing, the sound quality, the orchestra they had in tow, and the attitude/charisma by the band, I really don't care if my son enjoyed himself or not. I HAD A BLAST! What. A. Show.

    Daltry and Townshend still rock!

    by Dougd44 on 2019-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Seen the Who back in 89 at BC Place with 50000 fans, wish John Entwhistle (RIP) was still with them. This was as good. Noticed no difference in th quality of Roger's voice, incredible at his age. Equally incredible was Pete Townshend's playing. Still windmills flawlessly. I have seen many great bands of the sixties through eighties, this rank as one of the best I have seen.

The Who from back of the floor

by hendersjohn on 2019-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Overall loved the concert. The guys gave it all and were in great form. Daltrey and Pete were still amazing. There were problems getting a balance between the orchestra and the band. This is hard to do I know. It was definitely better half way through. BlueEyes was great sound as well as Quadrophellia. Thanks for Eddie Vedder.

Took my 16 year old for his birthday. It was the most boring concert I'd been to in years.

    Fantastic Show!

by Greg B. on 2019-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Roger and Pete were on fire. Both their voices were strong, guitar playing from Pete was awesome windmills and all! The orchestra was great and Eddy Vedder joined them for a song on stage. An all around great show!

The Who still has it, but not all as promoted

by Bambi on 2019-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

When we purchased the tickets January 18, Ticketmaster had promised a complimentary new CD of The Who with the ticket; will we still receive it when their album is finally released? We arrived at 8:00, just after the opening act, but waited another 40 minutes for The Who performance. We thought the gap was a missed opportunity to show old photos or videos of The Who on the big screens to the waiting audience (like we later saw at Sharkclub after the show). The Who has aged well. Pete Townsend is still a phenomenal guitarist and his vocals were limited but still good. Roger Daltry’s performance was high energy (for a 75 year old!) and while he didn’t have the range he once had, his voice was still strong. The orchestra was a great addition to the show, but it was nice to hear The Who without them too. Finally, there wasn’t an encore, though we understand there was at recent ones they have done. They acknowledged members of the the band and orchestra and thanked the audience and then left the stage and the house lights came on abruptly. Overall we enjoyed the show and are pleased we were able to see The Who perform live, something we never imagined would happen.

I did the VIP experience, the food was delicious, there was alot to choose from, two drink tickets, crowd free shopping. The concert itself was AMAZING !!! It was my first WHO concert, I was blown away, I loved it. I did not like the opening act though, sorry.

The Who, band and orchestra were fantastic!

by Sheila on 2019-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Enjoyed a great night of music. Pete and Roger sounded as good as ever, and were so energetic and fun! The addition of orchestra was amazing although it was great to hear the band do a set on their own also. Sound for Liam G was disappointing....but seemed very much enjoyed by younger crowd.

    Excellent Show

    by P. R. on 2019-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Daltry's voice still great, Townsend can still rip up the guitar, great band, and a great large orchestra. We we pleasantly surprised at how great this show was. Nice bonus of Liam Gallagher opening up and Eddie Vedder coming on stage for a song. Despite their age, this concert is among the best I've seen.

The Boys were so good it makes me excited to age!

by Kim on 2019-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

We’re 65. Pete and Roger are 75. Holy Crap!!! If this is what aging looks like, I’ll take some of that! Roger was great but Pete was magical and inspiring! The entire line up for the night was exceptionally orchestrated ( no pun intended) I was blown away. I love these Guys. Oh- and check out Alan Rogan
