THEO VON grew up in the stray animal belt of southern Louisiana. He was a child there and became an adult slowly there.
He can be seen and heard weekly on his widely popular podcasts that garner millions of listens/views a month THIS PAST WEEKEND, and KING AND THE STING.
Theo's new comedy special REGULAR PEOPLE was filmed at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN and is now streaming on Netflix.
In the Spring of 2020 Theo completed his two year DARK ARTS TOUR, which took him across America, Australia, and Europe, and another country. He's currently on the road with his 2021 RETURN OF THE RAT TOUR.
If you want to know how Theo is doing he is probably doing the best he can; which varies.
He currently resides in Nashville and Los Angeles. Gang.
Saw him last year at jfl42. He had no new material for this show. Disappointed.
Theo left us in tears the whole show. Opening act was good. Theo Von is the man. Congrats big mullet guy.
Theo didn’t disappoint. He used new material and it was so funny. I’m glad I got to see him live. Gang gang buzz buzz!
The show was great. Theo Von is hilarious! The openers were good. Overall had a great time. The venue is a little dated.
Seems crazy that the staff couldn't get the headliner a new mic when he explicitly asked for one several times. The mic cut a bunch and nothing was done. If there was no backup mic, that's even crazier. Also, it'd be nice if there were staff going around making sure people weren't talking through the set like at a comedy club. Theo crushed it though. He's the best, hence the 5 stars
My stomach hurt from laughing within the first 2 minutes. Hilarious set.
Great performance , Theo was awesome along with the headliners, small but very nice theatre
Great comedian. Original style, quick wit. Hilarious performance.
Theo was amazing. But a shotty mic (and no help from the stage crew to fix it), audience members constantly getting out of their seats during his set and a loud-mouth in the front row didn't do Toronto proud. Sorry, Rat King. Gang!
Really love Theo’s style and delivery. He is a one of a kind storytelling gem!
I’ve seen a lot of stand-up shows lately and Theo is at the top of the list!! The host(Keith Pedro) and opener(Ari Mannis) were both fantastic as well.
What a great Story Teller, with amazing physical comedy to boot. Had us laughing the whole way through
the host was funny, and the headliner was hilarious, but the second opener wasn't really funny at all. just seemed bitter and angry. not really a recipe for comedy. glad i paid to see Theo anyway
Well, from the microphone cutting out to people yelling his jokes before he can even say them, from a gay man leaving from being offended. It was not the best comedy show I’ve been too
We’ve been to a lot of comedy shows, it’s our thing. Theo is by far the most entertaining, having us in tears. He is very natural and his set is like a conversation w the crowd. If you haven’t heard him, check out his podcast “This Past Weekend” and you won’t be disappointed. Well worth it! Thanks Theo!
Full of energy. Theo came out with a blast and never slowed down. I can't tell who was having more fun us or him. It was edgy but not over the line. Tales of his childhood and his time in LA helps you feel like you've known him your whole life. Openers were great too. Worth the 2.5 hour drive and every penny. Theo's comedy is so unique and original. Everyone needs to see him live. 100/10
Theo Vonn was okay. I enjoy his podcast, but I thought he was just okay live
Theo Von may very well be the funniest stand up I’ve ever seen. After twenty minutes of me sweating and getting dizzy from laughing so hard, I quite literally had to calm myself down in order to sit through the rest of the show without dying. Likewise, my girlfriend was wheezing like a set of bagpipes next to me; I was 65% convinced she wouldn’t make it. What a show.
We laughed until our faces hurt. Theo is so hilarious and his use of words and phrases did not disappoint. His energy was great and he is just so likable! The only downside was the constant need for audience members to leave the theatre throughout the show. It was incessant and so distracting.
