Theory of a Deadman is the first Canadian rock band to sign with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 2002, Theory of a Deadman has blazed their own path with multiple-platinum albums in Canada, and 2008’s Scars & Souvenirs became one of their bestselling albums worldwide when it reached No. 26 on the Billboard 200 chart. Known for their rock anthems and introspective ballads, Theory of a Deadman have found success in Canada and abroad with chart-topping singles like “Bad Girlfriend,” “Rx (Medicate),” “Lowlife” and “History of Violence” — all of them topping Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. The Canadian rockers have toured worldwide with bands like Nickelback, Mötley Crüe, Bush, Shinedown and Skillet.

Excellent performance. Entertaining and well performed, the music was bang on.
The show was absolutely phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked for better. Theory put on one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. If you’ve never seen them live I highly recommend it!
What an absolutely amazing and entertaining band. The venue was excellent. They engage the fans, their music sounds like their CD even live. Would recommend them to anyone and i would see them again in a heartbeat
As always Theory of a Deadman put on a truly sensational show. They always seem to enjoy performing as much as we enjoy listening. I wish the concert never had to end. One of my all-time favorite bands to hear live. I love love love Theory of a Deadman.
The band was fantastic, the lead singer's vocals were incredible, and they sang. There were no drum solos, guitar solos, organ solos, and intermissions. They came out and delivered what I paid them for and it was outstanding. It was nice to hear some of the new material that will form their latest album but we didn't hear only that; we heard great music and songs from the past that we paid to hear. The lead singer is a very smart man. He knows how to play to the crowd. It was outstanding. Thank you so much!!!
Great concert played to a packed house. Between songs the lead singer engaged with the crowd of all ages from those in their 20’s to their 60’s who well entertained. Check this venue out not a bad seat in the house offering the bands Great Acoustics to deliver an outstanding performance. The Club regent event centre offers a standing room option for those who want to be right up in front of the stage aka in the pit to really get into the show on the dance floor.
Theory definitely did not disappoint. They put on an absolutely amazing show! Even Weapons who opened for them put on a great show! Great job guys! Can’t wait to see you again!!
They rocked the house! W3apons put on a good show .... loved the autographed merchandise for sale
The good... they started on time, the lights were nice, they played instruments well, singer had good voice Not so good... unremarkable stage presence, limited variety of instruments and reliance on prerecorded audio. Only recognized one song (cover version of Chris Issac). Excessive swearing reflects juvenile “angst” attitude, not a particularly sophisticated band. Have potential but need work.
Overall great concert and good venue. Only improvement would have been them playing longer. Theory only played for 1.5 hours to the minute like they had a time schedule, so many great songs they could have still played. Left me wanting more!
Love the venue, only thing I didn't like was for alchohol there was no Budweiser. Concert it self was awesome, knew every single song!
Opening band W3APONS was great & the guys were great as well. Theory of a Deadman ROCKED as usual! There was some miscommunication between the meet & greet sellers but Theory of a Deadman honored the meet & greet AFTER performing (for the 3 of us missed) This shows how awesome the guys are, especially since the other 2 meet & greet ladies had never done one before, were super excited & nervous & the guys shone as usual. Another perfect Theory of a Deadman evening!!
This was our fourth Theory of a Deadman concert and the boys did not disappoint! The show started out strong with a raucous rendition of “Lowlife” and the energy never let up for the rest of the night. All of the favourites were played along with just enough of their new work from the last two albums to keep the show fresh. I can’t wait to see them again - Theory is definitely one of my favourite bands to see live!
Theory didn’t actually play until over an hour after the concert started. That extra time comprised of an opening act that had very little performance value (Black’s “Friday” came up in conversation as comparison to their musical style) and then a break between acts for 30 minutes of canned music that didn’t even seem supervised. Songs would get changed out at odd times and there was nothing tying the music they played with any of the music performed. It was a long strange “entertain yourself” feature in the evening. It made it feel more like a sad music festival rather than a cohesive concert. This was the first concert I have ever attended where I wish I had brought a book. Theory was great - very informal and more like watching a band at a smaller venue. Had it just been them, without Weapons or the extra random time, we would have enjoyed the concert immensely more. Had they actually been in a smaller venue, we would have enjoyed it more, too. The Canalta Centre is wheelchair accessible, but not wheelchair friendly. The wheelchair seats are some of the worst seats in the house and it is not appropriate for staff to joke about someone having to be carried just so they can get to their seats. The wheelchair seating area is also used as a constant (even during performances) come-and-go dining & congregation area for people without tickets for those seats. I do not want to attend another event at the Canalta Centre after going through the experience they offer to people with disabilities. Even booking the ticket through Ticketmaster was problematic because I needed a wheelchair seat - that process was almost hostile. Overall I am not impressed and disappointed to have bought tickets or gone. Theory was awesome (they alone earned the stars), but the rest of the event was pitiful and not worth the effort of attending.
Everything to do with the bands and concert were amazing! My only disappointment was with the venue. There was no re-entry! My friend and I arrived at 5:30 for VIP. Before our meet and greet they scanned our tickets for the show and we were inside until the end of the show. I was so hungry! We were inside the general area by 6:30 and the show wasn’t until 8pm. All they had at the bar was chips, twizlers and chocolate bars. I found out later there was a food truck out back in the smokers pit. I had asked three separate people at the venue where to get food and not one of them mentioned the food truck.
Theory was amazing, but the opening act was horrible, too loud and the lyrics unintelligible. They wasted an hour that we could have been listening to the act we went to see. A large cable obscured some of our view, it could easily have been placed where it would not interfere with the visuals. Someone was not thinking. Overall a great concert with minor exceptions. First time we saw Theory was in the Esplanade which was an excellent venue with nothing obstructing our view.
But the venue which we've attended many times was good. The reserve seating was nice which hopefully will be in effect at other events more often. The show itself was really good this is the fourth time we've seen Theory and they just seem to get better and more refined every time we see them. A pleasure to attend the venue and the concert itself.
Theory was amazing!!!! Would definitely recommend seeing them life!
Multi talented band both instrumentally and intellectually. Must be heard and seen live to appreciate the true depth
These guys are still so great! Sound was amazing, and the set list was a great mix! A little disappointed they didn’t play Wait For Me (my favorite) but so many of their hits, so that was great! Also, great price!!!
