Theory of a Deadman is the first Canadian rock band to sign with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 2002, Theory of a Deadman has blazed their own path with multiple-platinum albums in Canada, and 2008’s Scars & Souvenirs became one of their bestselling albums worldwide when it reached No. 26 on the Billboard 200 chart. Known for their rock anthems and introspective ballads, Theory of a Deadman have found success in Canada and abroad with chart-topping singles like “Bad Girlfriend,” “Rx (Medicate),” “Lowlife” and “History of Violence” — all of them topping Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. The Canadian rockers have toured worldwide with bands like Nickelback, Mötley Crüe, Bush, Shinedown and Skillet.

Great as always! Theory did not disappoint. Kudos to the opening band W3apons!! They were fantastic.
Once again , theory didn’t disappoint. There opening band was okay, but the main event being theory was great as usual. They have changed their set list to include some of their new songs, and made for a nice mix. Thanks Tyler, dean, Dave and Joey for another wonderful evening out.
General admission, sound, bars security all exceeded my expectations!
Absolutely killer show! The opening act had some great songs and Theory put on a fricken great set list for us. The sound inside the event centre is great, I could everything without being overwhelmingly loud. I've been to the grwy eagle for quite a few shows now, its one of the best venues in the city.
The concert was amazing. They rocked it. Was so cool to hear one of my fav bands of all time. The Commodore is the perfect venue, just enough people, not too crazy busy.
Gets the crowd going, great sound and stage presence. A must see.
Had a great night once Theory began their show. The opening band was terrible, but it didn’t wreck our night. We were just happy to get to why we bought tix! Theory!
What a great show Saturday night! Sound was great, the song list was fabulous and the guys were all hitting their marks! Wish they would play in Vancouver more often!
Great night ...tight set...Theory were on point....Commodore team were excellent....venue can not be beat....looking forward to our next night at the Commodore
I must admit that I never followed this band in their heyday, but when some friends decided that they were going to Theory of a Deadman I thought sure, why not check them out? Now in my opinion, most bands sound either better live than on album or worse than on album and to their credit these guys rock live. The show started off a little slow ( the crowd needed to warm up, not the band ), but it wasn't long until everyone was on their feet and hands in the air. They played a few songs that I didn't recognize and then they hit it out of the park with some tunes that everyone knew. Overall, Theory of a Deadman is a band worth catching and because it was a smaller venue ( The Commodore Ballroom ) the sound was tight and the ability for the audience to get close to the band made this show worth the money.
I had so much fun at the concert. Theory of a Deadman was awesome. My daughter and I have never been to The Commodore Ballroom before. Love this more intimate venue. Had to wait 80 mins early did a table, but worth it. Table service was great.
They put on a very good show... extremely talented musicians. The Commadore is the best venue to see a show..We scooped a couple of seats by the bar and recieved incredible service all night.
Had a great time as always at the CB but the band came on so late and I wasn't overly impressed with the performance and while the crowd enjoyed it there were alot more people in their seats than I have seen before at a concert there.
I went at 7 because I thought the concert started at 8 like the ticket said. First band started at 930! Main event wasn't until 11pm! Nobody around us knew that either and we needed to go move our car because the underground closes at 11pm. After 4 hours of waiting security wouldn't let us go outside and come back in!!!! I was so pissed off! Waited 4 hours to see the concert and had to leave before it even started!
The show was awesome! Great tunes Great band -very interactive And enjoyed the venue too!!
Seeing Theory again is always an amazing show. And even better at the Commodore. Best venue in Vancouver to see a concert. So awesome that they start and usually end their tours with their home town fans makes it that much more special.
Great Venue , Amazing seats Theory never a disappoints!
Amazing concert! The lead singer is talented and hot. It was the second time at the commodore for me and seeing a rock band there as opposed to Rogers Arena was like night and day. We were on the floor and it was amazing to see them perform
So we went to the first night. Wasnt entirely sure how the opener would sound. we loved how welll they fit the sound we ended up talking with the members of weapon to learn more about them like how did they get found buly theory well we ended up coming back for the second night. the show was even better than the first . Sadly after heading home realized wed lost one of the shirts we bought and a wallet all in all the adventure was well worth it all we absolutely reccomend seeing them live its different experience live their personalities really shine adding to the music
These guys are amazing!!! Got to meet them before the show, so nice and very friendly. The music was out of this world, they sound exactly the same on the radio and live in person!!!!! Definitely would go see them again at this venue!!!!!
