About

From his first No. 1 smash "Should've Been A Cowboy" to his new album 35 mph Town, Toby Keith has been one of the most consistent self-directed hit makers of his era. From one of his previous collections, Clancy's Tavern, the lead single, "Made In America," topped the charts as one of the fastest rising songs in a long line of chart burners from Keith's pen. The second hit, "Red Solo Cup," has become the most remarkable and commercially successful country single in recent memory with a viral video with more than 30 million views while having topped the top downloaded country songs charts. The first single from 35 mph Town, "Drunk Americans," debuted at No. 1 Most Added on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase charts.

At the core of Toby's unparalleled success is his songwriting, which has powered an astounding succession of hit songs to the tune of more than 87 million BMI performances on commercial radio stations worldwide. In June 2015, Toby was inducted in to the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in New York City, and he has been honored by the Nashville Songwriters Association International with its Songwriter/Artist of the Decade distinction, is a three-time BMI Country Songwriter/Artist of the Year and was named the American Country Awards' Artist of the Decade. His albums have sold more than 40 million copies, ranking him among the top-selling all-genre artists on Billboard's Top 200 Artists of the Decade. Keith is also Billboard's No. 1 Country Artist of the Decade and No. 1 Country Songwriter of the Decade. His tours have drawn more than one million fans each year for the last decade. This year's tour, Interstates & Tailgates presented by Ford F-Series, kicks off in May with dates scheduled throughout North America. But Toby's most rewarding experiences, as exhibited in his continual devotion to them, come from giving back. Whether it's helping sick children and their families in his native Oklahoma through the Toby Keith Foundation and their cost-free home, OK Kids Korral, or supporting US Troops including 11 USO Tours throughout the world, Keith has never lost touch with the most important things in life.

    Trace & Toby Unbelieveable

by Brego on 2010-07-26Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver

Trace was just great the way he got the audience involved was great this is the first time that I saw him in concert. I was listening to Jrfm and when they said he was big I had no idea he was as tall as he was . Toby was great as well with the way he came on stage was different the light show for both of them was great and the flames for the fire and the fireworks as well. Overall both shows were very well done , I would go and see them again .They both kept the fans involved in evey way .

    Had fun, but ...

by TobysFan on 2010-07-26Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver

It was a good show, but not awesome. The band was too loud to hear his voice, tech problems with his monitor caused him trouble in "How Do You Like Me Now?" so that he started way off key. A certain 'energy" I expected was lacking.

Sorry, I didn't hear the question

by 1deafguy on 2010-07-26Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver

My wife and I were really looking forward to seeing Toby in concert but what a dissappointment. The first entertainer had lots of talen, xcan't remember his name but the volume was way to loud to clearly hear his voice, the background obscured the words. He played four or five songs, all with the same theme, and again barely understandable words. Trace Acton then came out and he may be really talented but how would you know, the backgroung "music?", was just a roar that actually hurt your ears. I thought I paid for a country western concert, not some ankle bighter hard rock show. Then my favourite entertainer came out ,after a really long intermission. There was a filmed commercial for Ford trucks that I might have to endure on my T.V. set but why at a concert that I paid big bucks for. Again the noise, even his voice, didn't even sound like Toby, it could have been anybody mouthing his songs, his voice was almost incoherant, because of the ridiculas loud level of the band. On top of that, the temperature inside the building was freezing. We put up with three "songs" and finally said, that's it and walked out with buzzing, sore ears and a really bad attitude about the whole evening. Thanks for nothing

    Trace will you marry me?

by RiniBee on 2010-07-26Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver

My first country concert and not my last! The opening act was slightly lame due to the rest of the band being stuck at the border... but Trace Adkins stole my heart! And Toby was everything I expected him to be.

    Really great, fun time.

by gman378 on 2010-07-26Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver

I'll start with the bad - he didn't sing 'Every Dog Has It's Day'. That being said, it's forgivable because of the amount of hits he did sing. A concert is always good when people are in good spirits (artificially enhanced or naturally) and everybody is singing along. Because of lower ticket sales, everybody that had upper level seating got upgraded to the lower bowl -- there was still about 10,000 I would guess. Jaron started the concert off with 6 songs, ending with his hit, 'Pray For You'. He was pretty good even with no band support. Trace Adkins followed with some upcoming songs and well known hits. He was very gracious in acknowleding the fans for paying good money to come out and seeing them. Toby came out last and rocked it for about an hour and a half. Great selection of hits that span his career. Encore consisted of 'American Soldier' and 'Courtesy' which was modified to the 'Red & White and the Red, White, & Blue' (being in Canada). Overall, the performances were great, the crowd was great (I didn't see even one fight) and I would definitely go again! Driving home, some kid phoned into the radio station and told them the concert was great but that Toby hadn't played "the oggy doggy song". So we got to hear 'Every Dog Has It's Day', allbeit on the drive home. :)

From beginning to end - Superlative

by Anonymous on 2010-07-25Sleep Country Amphitheater (Amph at Clark County) - Ridgefield

This concert and venue was incredible. I would attend another concert at Sleep Country Amphitheatre any time.. It was comfortable and well organized....I would recommend the Premier Parking option if you cannot organize a four person carpool.. Toby Keith, Trace Adkins and James Otto were unforgettable and the production was spectacular and flawless!!!

    ENERGETIC!

by KAYJAYGEE on 2009-07-20DTE Energy Music Theatre - Clarkston

Toby Keith never disappoints! His show is a combination of great music and high energy. It's great to see an entertainer that loves what he does and appreciates his audience. I went with people that do not love country music like I do and I think they have been converted. Second time seeing him...hope he comes again!
